According to ABC News, Liam Payne's father, Geoff, had also been in Buenos Aires since October 18, working to complete the formalities of bringing back his son's body home. The investigators previously informed Geoff that the pending tests are expected to take around 15 days.

The delay in sending the body happened as a result of the ongoing investigation into Liam's death. However, it arrived at the Heathrow Airport in London on November 7.

On the other hand, Liam Payne's family has not disclosed the funeral date so far. However, as per Style Caster, it is reportedly scheduled to be held at St Paul's Cathedral in Wolverhampton.

While speaking to MailOnline, an insider said it is expected to be organized at a "cathedral somewhere close to his heart." Another source for Radar Online stated:
