American rapper Saweetie recently appeared on The Really Good Podcast with Bobbie Althoff on Friday, May 17, 2024. The rapper shared her views on having children, her favorite cuisines, her new song, and a lot more.

The 30-year-old artist told the host about her real name, which is basically the Spanish equivalent of the word "diamond". According to Saweetie, her dad wanted to name her diamond, but her mother believed it sounded like a stripper's name, so they decided on Diamonté.

In an interview with Complex in October 2020, the rapper revealed that she had worked in a strip club once. She then added:

"While I was a server at the strip club, I realized that strippers are regular people... They're real girls who are coming to work."

On the podcast, the rapper further spoke about her zodiac sign and revealed that she is a cancer.

"When I was growing up I didn't like the name of the zodiac and I didn't like that I was a crab," she said.

While discussing food and cuisines, the rapper jokingly said that Bobbie must go out more often, after she claimed that oyster was the most "crazy" dish she had ever tried.

The duo went about discussing several other topics, including having children. While Bobbi, who is already a mother of two, stated that she wanted 10 more kids, the artist revealed her desire of having two sons and two daughters.

Saweetie asked Bobbi if her life transitioned after having children. The podcast host replied:

"Yeah, for the better. It just gave me purpose like I feel like without kids it's like you're doing everything for yourself. But now I feel like everyday I've to do things for my kids... Cuz I want them to be proud of me."

When asked if the rapper had plans of having children, she revealed that it was difficult given her busy schedule. She also jokingly described children as "little broke besties."

The rapper then spoke about her favorite vacation, which seemed to be the Turks and Caicos Islands. She further recalled a surfing incident during a vacation, which almost turned fatal after she tried doing a stunt.

The duo went ahead talking about weddings, when Saweetie said that she would want to have one in the water. She added that she got the idea after seeing something similar on social media.

The artist further shared:

"It's like shallow water and they built a literal aisle and seats in the water. It's beautiful, but I don't know if it was AI."

Bobbi Althoff is a 26-year-old podcaster who has become quite popular after interviewing some big shots including Offset, Drake, Jimmy Kimmel, Wiz Khalifa, Tyga, and Mark Cuban. Born in Southern California, she started The Really Good Podcast in April 2023.
