"What side are you on actually?"— Drake stan account calls out Lil Yachty over his recent comments on Kendrick Lamar's rap feud

The recently concluded beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has hit headlines again after an acquaintance of the One Dance singer, Lil Yachty, made comments on the entire rap feud. On Thursday, May 16, during a recent episode of his A Safe Space podcast, the rapper discussed his views on the beef openly.

The One Night singer said-

“… Drake dropped great records. But also, let’s be fair, Drake was deemed a loser in this battle before it started. Because people don’t like him and haven’t, and he’s won for a very long time.”

Meanwhile, once this news and the podcast went viral, one particular Drake stan account took to X to criticize Lil for his comments.

“No because what side are you on actually? you literally said you don’t think drake won or lost & that you have respect for both him & kendrick. how are you trying to stay neutral when your so called brother has been called a pedophile by the same guy you say you respect?”

Drake stan account called out Lil Yachty for his latest comments on Lamar - Drake fight

Lil Yachty has recently provided an analysis of the back-and-forth rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

On May 16, Yachty, who has a long history of working with the 6 God singer, noted in a recently surfaced podcast clip from an episode of A Safe Place that Kendrick "clearly had a lot more animosity" during the argument.

Billboard further reported that he went on to say that despite Drake's outstanding records, he was already considered the loser of this fight. Lil also believes that he is disliked and always has been.

Before finishing the podcast, Yachty made it clear that he told Drake he didn't think he "won or lost" the battle with Lamar.

On the other hand, once the clip went viral, a Drake stan took to X to criticize Lil. The fan even had an online verbal feud with the rapper on the social media platform. @lilyachty wrote:

@drizzyys u making s*it what it’s not, everybody and they mama kno what side I’m on. U fans be over doin s*it. I didn’t go into any specifics of the songs. Stop tryna spin narrative.”

The account named @drizzyys retorted, asking about Lil Yachty's allegiance and why he was attempting to maintain objectivity.

Lil Yachty recently put forth his opinion of the whole rapper feud

In the podcast, Lil Yachty further said:

“Honestly and respectfully, I think he still sits at the top of the throne. I think that even if opinionated masses would say that Kendrick won, I don’t think that people are gonna stop listening to Drake.”

The same source has stated that the rapper also offered his opinions on the result of Drake and Kendrick Lamar's rap battle.

Yachty went on to say that-

“Even if opinionated masses think Kendrick won, I don’t think that people are gonna stop listening to Drake."

Lil Yachty said that this particular brawl seemed like the "most officiated beef" he's seen, even though he also stated that there are "no rules" in a rap battle this size.

The Atlanta rapper also mentioned being brought up in the feud as an alleged ghostwriter for the 6 God in the same episode.

Additionally, he acknowledged that when Kendrick Lamar included his name in his battle, Drake's diss single Euphoria, it made him feel a little uneasy.

Lil Yachty continued, saying that he thinks Kendrick had a lot more hostility, which was evident in every song he released. Drake released some amazing songs, according to Yachty. People don't like Drake and haven't, thus he was declared the loser before the battle even began.
