German DJ Tomcraft, whose real name was Thomas Brückner, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the age of 49. The tragic news was first confirmed by Thomas' wife Brine, and his children Max, Amelie, and Sophie, through his Instagram account. They posted a photo of the late musician with a caption that read:

"With a heavy heart we need to inform you that yesterday, [July 15] our beloved father and husband has passed away. We will forever carry you in our hearts and love you until we’re reunited again. Sincerely, your family. Bine, Max, Amelie and Sophie."

No cause of death and additional information about the DJ's demise had been revealed as of now.

Born in Munich, Thomas was known for his contribution into "trance and progressive trance scenes" of the 90s and early 2000s. One of his most popular tracks was Loneliness, which was released in September 2002.

Thomas Brückner, born in June 1975, has been a well-known DJ throughout his life. Early in his career, he performed at notable gigs like the Union Move technoparade in 1995. Some of his popular singles include Prosac, Overdose, and The Mission.

His track Loneliness, released in 2002, topped the UK Singles Chart in May 2003. Tomcraft co-wrote the song with his studio partner Eniac but felt it was missing something. According to the BBC, he borrowed melody and lyrics from Andrea Martin's Share the Love and had the words re-recorded by British vocalist Vivian.

The German DJ had launched only four albums, in his entire career. The list goes as- All I Got (2001), MUC (2003), HyperSexyConscious (2006), and For the Queen. Tomcraft ended up launching a record label known as Craft Music, in 2005 signing Lutzenkirchen, Coburn, Oliver Koletzki, and The Egg under the label.

British DJ and music producer Judge Jules also took to X to express his condolences to the family of the late DJ. In the tweet, Jules wrote,

"RIP Tomcraft. Lovely guy, who made one of the greatest records ever."

Several other fellow musicians and fans had expressed their condolences to the grieving family of the late DJ.
