A YouTuber and rapper from South Los Angeles, Crip Mac, has been sentenced to two years and nine months in prison after he pleaded guilty in April to one count of possession of ammunition. Mac was arrested in December 2023, after the judge decided to drop gun charges; however, it was moved to the federal court soon after.
At the time of his arrest in December, the authorities confirmed that the incident took place in September 2023, as he was caught by the Los Angeles police with an unregistered firearm and ten rounds of ammunition.
Furthermore, this is not the first time that Mac found himself in a legal mess, as he has been arrested and charged many times since 2014. As per KFI AM 640, Crip Mac was charged in October 2014 for the transportation of a controlled substance and thereafter in August 2015 for grand theft.
In 2017, he was caught red-handed and charged with second-degree armed robbery. Other than this, the YouTuber was also charged in July 2022 for a similar gun and robbery case, which makes this his fifth arrest in the last decade.
