Ojani Noa, Jennifer Lopez's first husband, recently talked about his relationship with the singer in an interview with Despierta America. According to the October 20 report by Marca News, he also demonstrated his support for Ben Affleck, the singer's most recent ex, with whom he supposedly identified.

Noa then discussed the legal troubles he had previously encountered with the singer and actress, claiming that Sean "Diddy" Combs was partially to blame for their breakup.

He alleged that Lopez cheated on him with Diddy. Talking about the same, Ojani said,

"Part of that divorce was Diddy's fault."

As per People Magazine, Jennifer Lopez and Sean "Diddy" Combs dated from 1999 to 2001 after meeting on the set of the music video for If You Had My Love.

As per Pop Culture's May 8, 2024, report, Diddy claimed that Jennifer Lopez was the first woman he had ever fallen deeply in love with, despite the fact that he was already in a relationship when he met her. Diddy was already a well-known figure in the music business when the two first met.

In 1999, while Lopez's singing career was barely beginning, they met on the set of a music video. Diddy's hip-hop influence was reportedly very beneficial to Lopez during their time together. During this period, she started working with other rappers and put out a number of successful songs.

Speaking of the same, as per LA Times' October 2014 report, she told Access Hollywood in the same year,

"He gave me so many cues and taught me so many things. I'll always be grateful to him for that."

However, on December 28, 1999, Jennifer Lopez reportedly got embroiled in a scandal when she and Diddy were partying in New York City one evening, and the rapper got into a verbal altercation with someone. Shortly after that, gunfire was heard, and three people were wounded.

Following the incident, Diddy's acquaintance, Jamal Barrows, was charged with three counts of attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon. At the same time, the rapper and the actress were arrested on gun possession charges.

After escaping in Diddy's vehicle, the three were reportedly eventually caught by police after they discovered a gun inside. As Jennifer Lopez cooperated with the authorities and didn't realize the gun was in the car, charges against her were dropped. The rapper was also acquitted of all charges in March 2001.

As per Inquisitr's October 20, 2024, report, J-Lo opened up about the incident in an interview with Elle and said,

"It was a complete nightmare from beginning to end. I was scared to death in the car. I had absolutely no idea what was going on. No one did."

They finally stopped dating and reportedly parted ways in 2001. Jennifer Lopez explained her reasons for doing so in an interview with Vibe Magazine for their Solid As a Rock cover story in July 2003. She said.

"I never caught him but I just knew. He'd say he was going to a club for a couple of hours and then never come back that night. It was the first time I was with someone who wasn't faithful. I had to think, do I want to be home with kids in 10 years wondering where somebody is at three in the morning?"

Combs then reportedly stalked Lopez for a while. According to Forbes' October 2024 story, the actress claimed in her 2024 documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, that she had been "manhandled and a couple of other unsavory things" in previous relationships.

Diddy or Jennifer Lopez have yet to respond to Ojani Noa's accusations. Meanwhile, Lopez is currently struggling with her divorce from her recent ex-husband, Ben Affleck.

Radar Online reported on October 20 that despite hiring Hollywood power lawyer Laura Wasser to help mediate the terms of their divorce, the former couple still has a number of legal concerns to overcome.
