Singer Jon Bon Jovi released his The People's House music video on Friday, October 11, which was shot in Nashville. While announcing the release of the patriotic song, he also endorsed the Harris-Walz campaign on his social platform X. On October 11, he uploaded a snippet of his music video and wrote:

"The People's House is a song that celebrates this beautiful place that we call home, from sea to shining sea."

He further wrote:

"The truth matters. And the truth is on election day I'll be voting for @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz because I believe in the power of we, not of me. I've written a song reminding us that out of many, we are still one."

This isn't the first time Bon Jovi has visited the place. Even though he currently lives in New Jersey, he has a prior connection to the city. He opened a bar in downtown Nashville in Spring 2024, which delivers a blend of country and rock 'n' roll. With its five-story venue that includes two rooftop spaces, it also provides a location for food, entertainment, and music.

The People's House, a song by Bon Jovi featuring the country duo The War and Treaty, was released. In the monochrome video, the lead singer, Jon Bon Jovi, sings along with the group as they tour Nashville. They then stopped at the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, where Jon reportedly prevented a woman from jumping into the Cumberland River just a month ago.

The video, directed by Bojan Vanovac, and produced by Laura Vanovac and Vano Projects, also includes clips of individuals lip-syncing to the tunes. The People's House is the most recent single from the group's 16th studio album, Forever.

In addition, while introducing the song on X, Bon Jovi also openly supported Tim Walz and Kamala Harris for the next election. Bon Jovi has continued to be politically active throughout the years, producing music in response to George Floyd's passing and in favor of President Biden.

He had previously accompanied Al Gore on the campaign trail and been named to the Council for Community Solutions by President Obama.

On the other hand, coincidentally, in September 2024, while shooting for this video, Jon Bon Jovi assisted a woman who was about to jump off the Nashville bridge. The incident came to light after the singer posted the song on X, and one user @w3ohiorob commented on it.

"I'll just point out that while filming this video, Jon Bon Jovi took time out to help someone back from the edge of the bridge he walks across in the video. Total Class Act," one person wrote.

Additionally, talking about the incident, the Metro Nashville Police Department posted a video and a post on September 12 on X that read:

"A shout out to Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge [on] Tuesday night."

Nevertheless, there were other times the singer went to Nashville. The singer opened a bar-cum-restaurant, JBJ's Nashville, in June 2024, with Big Plan Holdings at the corner of Broadway and Fourth Avenue.

JBJ's is the highest and second-largest bar in terms of square footage. Its 37,000 square feet feature several stages and the wall features photos of his group, spanning decades of their career.

Additionally, the band's debut album will be released in a 40th-anniversary Deluxe Edition in 2024. It is said to be expanded with 18 tracks of rare audio and other unique content.
