One of rapper Playboi Carti's opp, 24lefteye, allegedly tried to commit suicide after allegedly getting exposed for his se*uality on December 30, 2024. Alleged photos and videos of the rapper trying to jump off a bridge in Atlanta have been doing the rounds on the internet.

According to a report by Media Takeout, the entirety of downtown was reportedly closed down to convince the rapper not to jump off the bridge. Eventually, he did not take his own life. The report suggests that it all allegedly began when 24lefteye began an argument with his purported homose*ual partner. The anonymous partner then reportedly leaked some of their alleged private images.

Further, the rapper's alleged gay partner also shared some of their private messages which reportedly included explicit conversations between the two. After the rapper's gang members saw the alleged leaks, they reportedly removed 24lefteye from their gang. This reportedly led the rapper to try to take his own life.

24lefteye is a Georgia-based rapper who is a part of and an affiliate of The Henchmen (5L Bloods). The gang is popularly known for their purported beef with Playboi Carti and 4L (comprising 21 Savage and Young Nudy). The Georgia rapper once dissed Carti in the 2021 track Whole Lotta Red.

24lefteye's gang member Benji Blue Bills addressed the rapper's alleged se*uality on Instagram

On December 30, Benji Blue Bills (one of the members of 24lefteye's gang, The Henchmen) took to Instagram to supposedly talk about his gang member's sexuality. Bills wrote:

"Ain't no way u den gave these folks THIS type of ammo😂🤦🏾‍♂️U den gave these folk sum artillery shells wtf. I can't defend that sht🙅🏾‍♂️ Membership REVOKED."

Popular rapper 21 Savage, whose gang allegedly has a beef with The Henchmen, also commented on the incident. In an Instagram live video where the Georgia rapper's alleged suicide attempt was being live-streamed, 21 Savage wrote a comment:

"Left eye said bring him a d*ldo and he will get down."

In a 2021 interview with Dirty Glove, 24lefteye disclosed that his real name is Ahmad. He released the album Money On My Head Vol.1 in the same year, which included 13 songs alongside Washington Street and Industry. The solo album was released in association with Geffen and Cinematic Music Group.

Speaking about how he became a rapper, Lefteye said:

"I always liked music coming up. But just on some shit with me fucking with music, I used to always be around folks who do that sh*t. If you always in the stu, you ain’t gon have nothin’ else to do but try that sh*t one day. I’ve probably been making music for like a year or two now."

The rapper also spoke about making it out of East Atlanta Zone 6 - his hometown- and added:

"For me, I’m just not out there no more. I could always go back. I’m outta that sh*t, I don’t gotta be there everyday. It was a time when I was there and I had to be there, I couldn’t go away from home. My home somewhere else now, I’m past that in my life. I’m still Zone 6 5L, but that sh*t ain’t nothing but trouble."

It is worth noting that neither Lefteye nor any of his gang members have made any official statements about the rapper allegedly trying to commit suicide.
