Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar have made their relationship public. HOLA! Americas captured the couple together and confirmed that the two were dating following the former’s separation from Cazzu. They also took to the internet to address their new status.

Christian Nodal recently ended his relationship with Argentine rapper Cazzu. After welcoming their child into the world, the two took to the internet in May to share with the public that they were splitting amicably.

Now, in her latest interview with HOLA!, Ángela Aguilar revealed that she and Nodal have known each other for a while now and that they have found their way back together. She told the magazine:

“It is not a new relationship; it’s the continuation of a story that life made us pause so we could grow and miss each other. Because when we let go, we returned even closer.”

For those uninitiated, Ángela Aguilar is the 20-year-old daughter of famous Mexican singer Pepe Aguilar. Her family boasts numerous Mexican entertainment industry legends including Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre. She is now a Grammy nominee and has established her own space in the music industry.

Ángela Aguilar was born in Los Angeles

Ángela Aguilar was born to Aneliz Alvarez-Alcala and Pepe Aguilar in Los Angeles on October 8, 2003. She began touring with her family at the young age of three. By the time she was 15 years old, she was a Grammy nominee.

In 2012, she released her first-ever EP, titled Nueva Tradición, which became a hit among youngsters. This led to her being nominated for Best New Artist and Best Ranchera Album.

Years later, she performed her hit track La Llorona during the Latin Grammy Awards.

She has released numerous albums, including Bolero, Mexicano Hasta los Huesos, Mexicana Enamorada, and Baila Esta Cumbia, among others. She boasts over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify as well. Speaking about her love for songwriting, she said on her official website:

“My grandmother once told me that every song is a story and you have to tell every song as if it were a story. At the end of the day, you are a storyteller, using your voice to portray feelings and you’re using your voice to portray stories.”

Apart from playing a significant role in the Mexican music industry, she also uses her platform to speak about voting rights and political issues.

This year, she was honored with the Musical Dynasty Award at the 2024 Billboard Latin Women in Music ceremony. Aguilar was the youngest among the eight honorees. Speaking to Billboard about the award, she said:

“The legacy I’ve had the privilege of forming part of has been beautiful and full of joy, trajectory, and music that when I get this award, I think of that, noy myself, and that makes me happy.”

Ángela Aguilar also revealed that her latest single will be titled Gotitas Saladas, which will be of the modern mariachi genre.

Ángela Aguilar and Christian Nodal, who is 25 years old, have worked together in the past. They collaborated on the 2020 ranchera track Dime Cómo Quieres. Speaking about the same, she told Billboard in 2020:

“I couldn’t stop laughing while recording my part. When you record a duet well you have that human interaction and a lot of your facial expressions are a reaction to what the other person is doing. But here, I was singing to a green screen and a guy from our production team who pretended to be Nodal.”

Fans cannot wait to see the duo out and about together.
