Who is Baby Storme? Real name and all about the singer as she accuses 'former best friend' Ice Spice of worrisome behaviour 

New York-based singer Janice Mofus who goes by the name Baby Storme recently made unconfirmed yet shocking revelations about Isis Naija Gaston aka Ice Spice. Storme addressed Isis as her former best friend in an X post on April 27.

Storme, 24, rose to fame via TikTok where she posts her lifestyle and beauty content. Known for her distinct braids, she has earned over 1.6 million followers on the short video platform.

She began her music career in the alternative genre in 2019 with her first single “Over Again”.

The series of claims Storme made about Ice Spice over the weekend has made the rounds on social media.

She accused the "Deli" singer of being a past bully, a colorist, and a disloyal partner. Storme said Isis tried to jeopardize her music career and replaced her with another “best friend” Lucy but also secretly hates her.

Storme also claimed Ice Spice lied about having Nigerian roots. As an attempt to back her allegations, the artist shared several screenshots of conversations she had with Ice Spice.

Ice Spice's alleged ex-best friend Baby Storme 'exposes' singer across X posts

The slew of accusations against Ice Spice by her alleged former best friend Baby Storme began with a No Jumper interview clip of rapper Cleopatra.

Storme wrote in the caption that Isis parades the rapper as her best friend to the public. However, she claimed Isis hates Cleo in reality, adding:

“But she used her so she could appear “closer to blackness.” she also lied about being Nigerian. she stole that from me.”

In the video, the No Jumper host mentioned Ice Spice being Nigerian to which Cleopatra responded that she wasn't aware of it. The host further asked her how close the two were with each other. Cleo answered Ice Spice never told her that she was half-Nigerian.

Baby Storme said she had known Isis since she was 13 and they attended the same grade school and high school together.

The singer alleged Isis used to bully her in high school, but she later forgave her after the "Munch" rapper apologized. Storme continued:

"she only tried to rekindle with me when i started doing music & got some motion. she used my connections & resources to make her way to the top & pretended to be my friend. she forced everyone in her life to sign an NDA, including me."

The alternative/indie singer shared screenshots of some long text messages she supposedly sent to Ice Spice.

There, Storme seemingly confronted Isis about a friend of the rapper named Lucy. From the messages, it appeared that Isis and Lucy's friendship or acquaintance surprised and disappointed Storme.

She then confronted Ice Spice about contacting her in 2021 after Storme's song went viral, and she set out to pursue a career in music. Storme wrote:

"you were only friends with me at the time because you saw my motion & wanted to be acquainted. you pretended to be a real friend."

Baby Storme concluded the message by saying:

"For years you told me you could never be friends with lucy again because of the person she was. but the truth is, you 2 belong together. I want to make it clear that you are NOT my friend. and when the time comes, i will expose to the world the real person you truly are. count your days."

On the next post, Storme shared two more screenshots where Ice Spice supposedly spoke about an unmentioned dark-skinned Black singer.

People in the comments assumed Isis was talking about Doechii, who previously opened up about dealing with colorism.

Baby Storme shared more screenshots and accused Ice Spice of being fat-phobic. Next, she claimed Isis cheated on Riot, "her producer and boyfriend". Storme sais:

"she cheated on him with Tjay & then rapped about it on their song together. if you don’t believe me, just go back & read the lyrics to ‘Gansta boo.’ but this time, read carefully. they were talking about him. she knows no loyalty, not even to the only person who has always been there for her. Riot."

Baby Storme alleged Ice Spice put the utmost effort into ensuring the former's career would never bloom.

Ice Spice has not yet addressed these claims yet.
