Celebrity lawyer Bradford Cohen weighed in on NBA YoungBoy's 27-month sentence after the rapper pleaded guilty in a federal gun case. As reported by AllHipHop, the case was transferred from Louisiana to Utah before the verdict came out. According to Cohen, he predicted the judgment weeks before it was passed.
For the unversed, Bradford Cohen had also been Kodak Black's lawyer. According to his LinkedIn profile, Cohen is the managing partner at Cohen & McMullen. He has held the position since January 2015.
The lawyer went to Western New England University, where he got his degree in marketing/finance. Bradford Cohen then attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law to receive his JD degree in law.
Explaining his prediction about the judgment in the NBA YoungBoy case, Cohen mentioned that he believed that "the case in Utah is weak," and he added, "the Federal case had all kinds of trouble." He further wrote on Instagram in a post dated September 9:
"Being right is a bad habit of mine. Global plea 27 months…will be out with credit time served in prob 12 months… lawyer did a nice job with resolving the matter successfully."
AllHipHop reported that according to Cohen, YoungBoy might be out sooner than expected.

For the unversed, on August 14, 2024, NBA YoungBoy pleaded guilty to illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. He was one of the 16 individuals taken into custody back in 2020 from a music video shoot in Louisiana. Over time, several charges were filed against the rapper.
