Braian Nahuel Paiz, one of the three suspects charged in connection with Liam Payne's death, shared information about the late singer's alleged secret Instagram account. Paiz, a 24-year-old Argentinian waiter, was investigated as the person who allegedly supplied drugs to Liam.

In an interview with journalist Guillermo Panizza on the Argentinian TV show Telefe Noticias on Saturday, November 9, Paiz spoke about meeting Liam twice at the CasaSur Palermo hotel, where the singer fell to his death on October 16.

Paiz said on October 2, Liam, along with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, and two unnamed people ate at an eatery in the Puerto Madero neighborhood, where he worked. The 24-year-old claimed:

"I've heard people saying he was taking drugs but the truth is that when he got to the restaurant where I was working he was already under the effects of drugs and he didn't actually eat anything."

Paiz alleged that during Liam Payne's visit to the restaurant, the singer approached him and asked for his contact details. The waiter gave him his Instagram ID and Liam later messaged him from his alleged private Instagram account with the intent to take drugs.

Braian Nahuel Paiz claimed that the two arranged to meet on the same night at the "Hyatt in Palermo." Paiz described their conversation as "normal" and added:

"He came down from his hotel room to fetch me because I had got lost."

During this meet, Paiz said he and Liam allegedly had "some whiskey shots" and the singer showed him some new music he planned to release.

24-year-old suspect in Liam Payne's death claims he did not supply the singer with any drugs

Buenos Aires authorities raided Braian Nahuel Paiz's home before he was summoned for formal interrogation. The 24-year-old waiter was accused of being Liam Payne's drug dealer. However, during the interview on Argentinian television, Paiz denied the allegations, claiming:

"I never supplied Liam with drugs."

Paiz said he met the singer for the third time on October 13 at hotel CasaSur. According to his statement, Liam Payne allegedly consumed cocaine, while he smoked cannabis. Paiz further said:

"We took drugs together, but I never took drugs to him or accepted any money. I have messages where he’s offering me money because he was apparently used to offering money for everything but I never accepted anything."

Paiz claimed Liam Payne offered to give him a t-shirt and a pair of grey joggers as a memory of their hangout, but the waiter left it behind the TV in his hotel room. He added:

"I told Liam a best friend of mine wanted to meet him because he was a fan. He said ''yes'' and after I went he appeared outside the place where I lived and managed to get halfway into the building and wanted us to go back to his hotel but I told him I couldn't because I had to go to work."

Paiz said his shift starts at 11:30 am at the restaurant, but he went there earlier that day, after which the singer reportedly left in a taxi. He added that was the last time he saw the singer.

Three days after their third encounter, when Liam fell to his death from the 3rd-floor balcony of his suite at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, the news shocked everyone.

Discussing the individuals charged over Liam Payne's death, Braian Nahuel Paiz said he was not acquainted with the two other suspects. Paiz also expressed his confusion about the images that surfaced after the singer's passing. Referring to the pictures of the hotel room where Liam was staying, Paiz said:

"When I saw the photos of the inside of Liam's hotel room nothing made any sense to me. The Dove soap packet was there when I was in the hotel but I couldn't understand what it was for or the candles or the glass of water."

Liam Payne’s toxicology reports show the presence of alcohol and cocaine in his body at the time of his death. Traces of antidepressants were also found in his system.
