Who is FBG Butta? Rapper issues clarification as photo of his beaten up face goes viral

On September 1, a photo of rapper FBG Butta went viral on social media in which he appeared injured on his face. This led fans to speculate that the rapper was beaten up. To clarify the matter, the rapper posted a video explaining that he was actually suffering from pink eye, a common and contagious eye infection.

In his video, FBG Butta clarified:

“Like come on bro, let’s be real. This is the f*****g pink eye again. Ya all think I am letting somebody touch me?”

Also known as Tunechi from Back In The Days, FBG Butta is a gangster disciple from STL/EBT based out of Jaro City. He grew up in Chicago and attended different high schools, including John Hope, and Hide Park Academy. He was reportedly expelled from Hide Park Academy due to fighting. In a March 20 interview with Vlad TV, he said:

“I like to fight, you know what I am saying? You get a little steam off.”

FBG Butta is the brother-in-law of FBG Duck, Brick, and Brick Youngster (STL/EBT), as well as the cousin-in-law of Scrapp and Rooga (MOB). He is also a cousin of Beans (MOB) and Rontae (Jaro City). His brothers include Booka, Lil Dee (600), WhiteWhite (O’Block), Tay Capone (600), and LA Capone (600). The rapper also has a brother from 051 Young Money.

FBG Butta lost his father at a young age

In a March 20 interview with Vlad TV, the rapper shared that his father was a great man, who died when he was young. His mother looked after the children. The rapper added that his father’s death was due to a love triangle. He said:

“My dad was shot and killed in 04. My mom, she had to, you know, step up but she had us though cuz and then my big, my older brothers and my little sister.”

FBG Butta also mentioned in the interview that he became a gangster disciple when he was five years old. His father was also a gangster disciple. He disclosed that he has been shot a total of 13 times over the years, with the first incident occurring when he was nine, where a bullet hit him in the back of his leg.

During a May 29 interview with Vlad TV, he accused rapper Lil Durk of cooperating with federal agents. He noted that he was taken into custody because his name was mentioned, despite not being as well-known as Durk. He emphasized that Durk's name was brought up more frequently and hinted at Durk's wealth and his potential connections to law enforcement.

In 2012, STL member and rapper Lil Jay allegedly posted about KI and Butta, referring to them as the twins who were responsible for the creation of O’Block or the death of Odee, a beloved gang member from Parkway Gardens from WIIC City. As a result, FBG Butta became a target for O’Block, 600, Front$treet, and Lamron.

Over time, Butta became a target multiple times, the most notable being on April 11, 2014, when KI was fatally shot by a top rival, King Von (O’Block). This incident left Butta and Spoon (STL/EBT) injured.
