Fredo Bang also revealed that it took him 14 months to bring out the album due to "label issues". The rapper explained that he had to deal with a lot of "anxiety and stress" while dealing with the album's eventual release.
HNHH asked Fredo Bang how he dealt with such a vulnerable time in his life and his mental health issues. The rapper revealed that making music helped him through a lot of tough times. He continued:
"Yeah, it was really hard. Ain’t gonna lie. Music my whole life, I don't try to invest myself into anything else. So if I can't put no music, my brain is just--"

"They liking it, because me being vulnerable is also unlocking their vulnerable side. Just things that they're dealing with and feeling. Sometimes you be sad and don't know that you’re sad," Bang stated.
Fredo Bang also shared the story of his collaboration with Kevin Gates on the song Ring Ring from Yes, I Am Sad. Interestingly, the rapper revealed it was last minute as Fredo Bang had decided he would not put that song on the album if Gates did not join him.
