Singer-songwriter Ray J is one of the notable personalities who commented on Diddy's legal problems that emerged after the latter's arrest on September 16, 2024. Ray has once again shared a statement about Diddy, which is grabbing a lot of attention on social media.
Notably, Ray posted a video on Instagram on October 19, 2024. It was a snippet of his interview on NewsNation show, Cuomo. The clip featured a headline on the bottom that read, "Ray J on who really knew about Diddy."
Although Ray did not mention what he was exactly referring to about the rapper, the video featured him saying:
“Because you know they saying that people at the church doing it. So now I can’t turn cheek to cheek when somebody hits me because now I’m thinking about b*tt cheeks. You know it’s like it’s a lot. It’s a lot and it’s just not adding up to me.”
On the other hand, netizens took to the comments section of Hollywood Unlocked's Instagram post to share their reactions to Ray's statement. One of them also wrote:

Most of the users were spotted making fun of the fact that Ray was frequently invited to Cuomo to speak about Diddy. A section of the netizens also claimed that they could not understand what Ray was saying. Another user stated that he was doing anything "to go viral."
Diddy, also known as Sean John Combs, has been accused of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Despite applying for bail thrice, his requests have been dismissed by the court.
Ray J speaks up on the allegations against Diddy on a news show
Also known as William Ray Norwood Jr., the singer launched a show titled The Reality Check News on YouTube on October 8, 2024. In its premiere episode, Ray talked about Diddy's arrest and the charges imposed against him.
Ray J said that Sean was his friend and that it is not easy to believe anything until someone is proven guilty. He further spoke on the accusations:
"Do you forgive somebody for taking somebody's a*s? There's a lot of people out here taking from people. People are getting robbed of not only their money and their spirituality, they're getting robbed of their womanhood and manhood. A*ses are being taken in ways that nobody can explain."
Ray even addressed the details mentioned in the grand jury indictment, claiming that baby oil and lubricant were reportedly discovered during the raids conducted at Sean's house in March this year.
Ray added that he witnessed several jokes emerging out of the allegations:
"Everybody got a joke about having about baby oil or lube. Is that okay? Is that the message?"
He expressed his frustration towards popular personalities who have a lot of power in their possession and have been involved in "unsavory conduct" over the years. Ray stated that he would expose them soon, adding that he would later reveal the names.
Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial is scheduled for May 2, 2025.
