Katelyn Sailor, an influencer from New York City, traveled to Toronto last week to catch Taylor Swift's show on Saturday, November 23, without having pre-booked the tickets.
The content creator was accompanied by her husband, Kyle Sailor, on a road trip to Toronto to watch the Love Story singer perform live at the Rogers Center. Katelyn was updating her followers about the couple's situation with the tickets in real-time, sharing on her Instagram that they were without tickets with six hours left for the show.
The couple ultimately bought their concert tickets 20 minutes before the Cruel Summer singer's set began. By the time they were in the stadium, their seats were upgraded to the floor.

Katelyn Sailor was born on February 28, 1988, in North Carolina. Sailor got married to her husband in 2014, and the two settled down in Raleigh afterward.
It wasn't until the pandemic that Katelyn and Kyle decided to move to Manhattan. The couple first rented out an Airbnb for two months and started to look for apartments on rent after spending two weeks in the city.
It was also after coming to New York that Sailor started creating content professionally. The 36-year-old showcases interior design, fashion discoverables, and her daily life as a New Yorker on social media.
In a March 2023 interview with The Everygirl, Katelyn Sailor was asked about her life as a full-time content creator, to which she responded:
"It’s so fun to show my life and my creative side to others for a living, and I love working with brands I’ve used for years. It can be a little stressful being self-employed, and I’ve had to work to get over the anxiety of feeling like I could be constantly doing more, but it’s ultimately been worth it."
Elsewhere in her interview, Sailor also revealed that her passion for home decor was passed down to her by her mother. Katelyn recalled watching her mother spend hours making every corner of her house look and feel beautiful - a trait that the influencer picked up.
Katelyn Sailor is represented by Suave MGMT global management company, where she's described as "a leading voice in the lifestyle space."
While Kyle and Katelyn don't share any children as of now, the couple are pet parents to Lou, a French Bulldog who has been a part of their family for eight years now and features in many of her videos.
Katelyn and Kyle's tickets were upgraded to the floor
Upon reaching Toronto on Saturday, Katelyn Sailor posted stories about Eras Tour-themed activities around the city as she continued to monitor the tickets to Swift's show. Sailor also told her followers that the couple was expecting the ticket prices to go down on the weekend, which unfortunately didn't happen, with their prices surging instead.
A little later, Katelyn also shared a screenshot of a text message she had sent her mother, writing:
"If your son-in-law took me to Toronto to NOT see Taylor Swift, I'm going to m***** him."
Two hours before the Anti-Hero singer's concert started Sailor posted a picture of herself dressed in a Taylor-inspired outfit - a sparkling black dress paired with black boots and a gold jacket. The influencer captioned her story:
"The face of a gal whose husband made her get ready but still doesn't have f*****g tickets"
Twenty minutes before Taylor Swift's show started, Katelyn Sailor posted pictures of two tickets for the Corona Rooftop Patio, costing $1,896 each, writing:
"This is the cheapest ticket now (that was $3,750 earlier) so I'm pulling the trigger on our section! (Lower bowl has been my dream)"
Upon making it inside the stadium, the influencer realized that their tickets had been upgraded to the floor, where she sat in the eighth row as Swift started her Fearless segment on the stage. Her final story from the concert was captioned:
"I actually don't know how it gets better than this. Can't breathe still. Signing off. WHAT IS LIFE"
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, which kicked off in Arizona in March 2023, is now close to its completion, with only three more shows remaining in Vancouver.
