Who is Keith Adams? All about the attorneys in Young Thug's legal team who were instrumental in freeing the rapper

As per 29 News, Young Thug recently entered a plea deal on October 31, in his trial, which had been ongoing since January 2023. The rapper has been ordered to be on house arrest after being released from prison, where he had been for more than 2 years.

Amid his permanent release from prison, it is worth knowing more about his legal team. Attorneys Keith Adams and Brian Steele have been representing Thug, aka Jeffery Lamar Williams. For the unversed, the rapper was charged with eight counts of violating the Racketeering and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

Attorney Keith Adams provides legal services, including criminal defense. Adams is based in Decatur, Georgia, and is a 1991 graduate of the Tulane University Law School. He began his law practice in 1993. He now works with Georgia-based law firm Keith Adams & Associates, LLC. The official website of the firm says:

Brian Steele is another attorney who was representing Young Thug in the trial. According to UPROXX, Steele has represented several significant people over time, including FBI agents, judges, doctors, and law enforcement officials. Steele is known for covering cases in multiple fields like RICO, wire fraud, immigration fraud, money laundering, murder, and armed robbery, to name a few.

As per news reportys by 11 ALIVE, Young Thug was released after he entered a plea deal which was non-negotiable in nature. It happened after prosecutors suggested a 45 year sentence. The final decision was, however, made by the judge, after the defense team including Brian Steele and Keith Adams suggested Thug to enter a non-negotiated plea.

The decision was finally upon Superior Court Judge Paige Whitaker to choose the punishment for Young Thug.

According to the official page for Keith Adams & Associates, LLC., Adams doesn't deal with only criminal defence. He also is an expert in cases involving personal injury rights. According to the same site, these cases usually involve "reimbursement for pain and suffering, medical bills, lost wages, and other unanticipated expenses."

The site reads:

"Keith Adams assists individuals who have suffered from a personal injury recoup some of what they lost as a result of the temporary or lifelong physical or emotional impact."

On the other hand, Brian Steele is a well-known lawyer who first received his BBA degree in 1987 from the University of Michigan. In 1990, Steele got his JD degree from the Fordham University School of Law. His legal career began with working as an Assistant Public Defender in Fulton County from 1991 to 1993.

Apart from his home state Georgia, Steele had appeared in courts of other states as well, including California, Florida, Missouri, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, and a lot more.

On Thursday, Grammy-winning singer Young Thug expressed their apology to everyone who was affected by his actions before his release happened.
