Rapper T.I.'s son, King Harris, and his girlfriend, J'Nijah "Nana" Epps, had a baby shower celebration on October 6, 2024. The glimpses of the ceremony are getting a lot of attention on social media.
T.I.'s wife, singer Tameka Cottle, shared a few clips through her Instagram Story on the day of the ceremony. The lineup started with the camera focusing on the guests who came to the baby shower, and Cottle wrote on top of the video:
"Getting ready for our new King!! @nanalifinea*s @the_next_king10."
In the following clip, King Harris was seen posing with his girlfriend and Cottle wrote:
"My baby @the_next_king10 is having a baby! I'm too geeked about my Grandson coming!! @nanalifinea*s you look so beautiful! Congratulations guys!"
The last shot included a video originally posted by Spiritual World, which Cottle reshared. It featured King Harris holding the baby bump of his girlfriend.
King Harris has followed in his father's footsteps, pursuing a career in the world of rapping. His debut album, Wild Rockstars, was released back in August 2021. Additionally, he has appeared in the VH1 reality series, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.
Although detailed information about J'Nijah's current profession remains unknown, she has built a following on Instagram, amassing over 10,000 followers.
T.I. announced King Harris is expecting his first child in August 2024
T.I., also known as Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., appeared on Hot 107.9 for an interview on August 27, 2024, where he spoke about his family. He mentioned being a grandfather to two granddaughters, adding that his son, King Harris, was expecting a child. He said:
"King's about to have a son. And I told him, I'm gonna make this the greatest gangster of all time."
T.I. jokingly stated that his grandson would be different since he would torture his father the same way King Harris used to torture the artist many years ago. Clifford added:
"I promise you there will be an indictment in this young one."
King Harris made headlines again later that month after his appearance on the Me & Halo podcast. The conversation became a topic of discussion when Harris was asked to spell the word "tomorrow," and he was having trouble doing it.
Notably, Harris spoke three letters, and T.I. was shocked, staring at his son. Although the podcast's co-host, Halo Epps, corrected Harris, King claimed with confidence that he was not wrong. Clifford also began laughing at what his son stated, and 2 Chainz, the other host, revealed why he wanted Harris to say the word.
"I ain't gonna lie, the reason I gave it to King because, boy, my text messages, the last thing I'm spelling right is 'tomorrow.'"
Meanwhile, T.I. has a new album on the way, titled Kill the King, and the release date remains unknown. However, two singles from the project, What It's Come To and Llogclay, have already been released. Clifford said on The Baller Alert Show last year that it would expand beyond the concept that was originally planned by him. He also stated that the album is not complete yet.
