Country singer Lauren Alaina announced her pregnancy in the music video of Those Kind of Women on January 22, 2025. Toward the end of the music video, the country singer cradled her baby bump as her mother stood nearby. Additionally, the music video featured a message on the screen stating:

“This video is dedicated to my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025."

Lauren is expecting her first baby with her husband Cam Arnold and confirmed her pregnancy to PEOPLE in a report dated January 22, 2025, mentioning:

"[I didn't know] I can love something that I haven't even really held yet. I feel the baby inside me, and it's kicking me and doing all of the things. It's like I was the Grinch or something, and my heart grew."

Lauren Alaina and Cam Arnold got married in February 2024, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville. Cam Arnold described the wedding as a "big, loud" celebration to People at that time.

Additionally, Lauren told People in the latest report that the pregnancy has "bonded" them more than their marriage and that even before marrying Arnold, she knew that one of the best things about being Arnold's wife would be to "parent with him".

According to a report by PEOPLE dated February 5, 2024, Lauren's husband Arnold Cam graduated from Auburn University, Georgia with a degree in finance in 2010. He also pursued a bachelor's degree in business administration with subjects like marketing, finance, and management from Middle Georgia State University.

Arnold Cam has worked in the sales department of SouthPoint Risk, an insurance firm based in Nashville. Cam's LinkedIn suggests that he is the vice president of sales in the insurance firm.

The singer further commented on her husband becoming a father and told People that it has been an unbelievable experience. Lauren Alaina said that her love for Cam Arnold grew the day of their marriage and when they found out about the singer's pregnancy. She added that she is looking forward to watching her husband be a dad since he is obsessed with their animals and is "a big nurturer in general".

In her interview with PEOPLE, Lauren Alaina talked about how the news of her pregnancy has acted like a source of joy after her father's demise in July 2024. Commenting on the same, Lauren said that she thinks her dad went to heaven and asked for something good to be sent to his family "down there".

Calling her baby an "unexpected blessing", the 2011 American Idol runner-up said:

"We obviously still talk about and are dealing with the grief of my dad, but this baby has healed a lot of that for us ... like it's a little piece of my dad that will live on."

Moreover, Lauren shared that she and her husband had planned to start a family at the end of 2025 and that she is scared at the moment because she feels like she hasn't passed any tests. The country singer mentioned that being a mom doesn't entail taking a test for the position calling it "crazy". Lauren Alaina added:

"People are like, 'What's your plan with the birth? And what's your plan here?" And I'm like, listen, 'God's plan. It wasn't my plan."

Giving an insight into her pregnancy announcement through a music video, Lauren Alaina mentioned that she barely had a bump when the video was shot so she put a fake bump over her pregnant belly to make it appear bigger.

The country singer said that it is funny in hindsight as her belly has now come close to how it appears in the music video.
