Rapper Lil Wayne is reportedly dating his personal chef, LeahAngelie Murphy. As per an article by TMZ Hip Hop published on Friday, October 18, 2024, the pair met last year after his previous chef sued him for wrongful termination. The two have been dating for nearly a year.
LeahAngelie Murphy is a private chef and influencer from Los Angeles. Murphy reportedly started working for the Louisiana rapper sometime in early 2023 (his previous head chef, Morghan Medlock, filed her complaint in December 2022). They started dating not long after.

LeahAngelie also runs the Instagram account @moufwet, named after her business, Mouf Wet. The term is a play on the words "mouth" and "wet", which she elaborated in her profile bio, writing, "When food looks so good, it instantly makes your #Moufwet."
Most of her content revolves around her cooking, food styling, and experiences as a private chef. In addition to working as a private chef, Murphy also does catering and private dinners.
Murphy celebrated her 35th birthday in October 2023. According to TMZ, she and Wayne went for a birthday dinner and then hit the skate park with Murphy's friends to further celebrate. Some of her Instagram posts suggest that she frequently rides the skateboard and is proficient.
Additionally, the chef has been accompanying Wayne on his tours. According to her posts, she joined the rapper on his Welcome to Tha Carter tour in May of last year. In her posts, LeahAngelie explained that it was her first time working on a tour and called it, "One of the hardest things (she had) done as a private chef."
Per TMZ, Murphy is accompanying Lil Wayne on his current tour as well, adding that she was present during his recent show in Columbus, Ohio.
Murphy adopted a Maltipoo puppy named BobaYoda in January 2021. Since then, she runs an active IG account dedicated to the pup under the user name @yungbobayoda.

In December 2022, personal chef Medlock sued Lil Wayne, alleging wrongful termination, retaliation, and unlawful practices. She claims she was fired earlier that year after she left him in Vegas to attend to a family emergency.
Per a December 2022 report by TMZ, citing court documents, Medlock accompanied the rapper to Las Vegas in May. Sometime during the trip, she claimed she was notified that her 10-year-old was hospitalized after sustaining a head injury. She wanted to rush home but was delayed due to the rapper's alleged shenanigans.
At the time, she chose to rush to her son on a separate flight and informed Wayne's assistant of the same. She hoped they would understand; however, she was fired. In March 2024, the rapper and Medlock settled the lawsuit.
