Veteran actor Reginald VelJohnson, best known for his role as Carl Winslow in the beloved TV series Family Matters, has denied recent claims made by music producer Luce Cannon. The latter claimed that VelJohnson had a s*xual relationship with Sean Diddy Combs.

On May 29, 2024, during an episode of the podcast Drinx With Jinx, Cannon alleged that he had witnessed Reginald VelJohnson having a physical relationship with Diddy during one of the "freak off" parties.

Later, when on September 16, 2024, Diddy was arrested under the charges of s*x trafficking and racketeering, TMZ reached out to Reginald VelJohnson and addressed the alleged claim, which the actor denied.

Cannon is a music producer who initially pursued a career as a rapper. Today, much of his work focuses on producing and writing music for other artists, with his career centered around contributions behind the scenes in the music industry.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Luce Cannon's father passed away when he was quite young, and he was raised by his mother. Pursuing a career as a music producer was far from easy for Cannon. He survived being shot three times and spent two years in prison for undisclosed reasons.

He discovered his passion for music during this difficult period, realizing it was his true calling, according to Top Notch Promo.

After release from prison, Cannon made a deal with Warner Brothers, which ended relatively early as he chose an independent path. At 17, Luce Cannon began working with Nipsey Hussle, whom he regarded as his brother.

Speaking to HyperBeast in May 2023, Cannon reflected on his music journey and relationship with Hussle and suggested that they "grew together" and made music together —

"We grew up together, so he was always big bro to me. When it came down to producing and writing and stuff like that, I was always there with him from the beginning to the end," Cannon said.

Moreover, in 2022, while speaking about his collaborative song Ball Out with Drakeo the Ruler, Cannon told HyperBeast that following the tragic demise of Hussle and Drakeo, he took a brief break from making new music. Luce Cannon also suggested that he and Drakeo made a lot of music together, and Ball Out was the one they made on the last day.

Luce Cannon has worked with many high-profile figures in the music industry, including Rihanna, Snoop, The Game, Nas, and 50 Cent. He is working on his forthcoming album and autobiography, The Gun or the Pen. As per Top Notch Promo, the expected release date has yet to be disclosed.

On September 25, 2024, in a statement with TMZ, VelJohnson expressed shock and disappointment over the accusations, which he categorically rejected as false.

The allegations surfaced when Luce Cannon appeared on the podcast Drinx With Jinx and claimed that VelJohnson had a personal relationship with Diddy during his "freak off" parties, sparking widespread speculation.

"When Diddy [expletive] Carl Winslow, we was at the party. So, I hear a [expletive] just wearing out some sh*t. I'm like, 'Who's wearing this b*tch out?' [expletive], I kicked in the door. Boom! Kick in the door, [expletive], I seen Carl Winslow put his head up," Cannon claimed.

In response to the claims, Reginald VelJohnson expressed frustration, stating that he does not know Luce Cannon but wishes him well. He also advised Cannon to focus on more meaningful pursuits rather than spreading baseless rumors —

"That's all bullsh*t. I don't know that man. I wish him well, though. Get a life," VelJohnson replied.

Reginald VelJohnson is appearing on season 33 of the celebrity dancing show Dancing With the Stars. Cannon has not yet responded to VelJohnson's denial of the claims.

Following Diddy's arrest, the alleged "freak off" party videos came out in public, which included videos and images of s*x workers and celebrities, including in s*xual activities, as per The Tab.
