Who was Lul Pab and what happened to him? Death of Quando Rondo's cousin explained in wake of multiple OTF arrests

Quando Rondo's cousin Lul Pab lost his life in a shooting incident that happened back on August 19, 2022, in Los Angeles. Pab was the owner of a truck business called A&S Express Carriers alongside a French bulldog kennel business and Supreme Exotic Frenchies.

The shooting was allegedly planned to kill Rondo to avenge rapper King Von's murder that happened back in November 2020. According to HotNewHipHop, the latter was shot dead in the parking lot of the Monaco Hookah Lounge, Atlanta, which reportedly happened after King Von had a dispute with the crew of Quando Rondo.

As per the latest update, five people were recently taken into custody by the federal authorities on October 24, 2024, for their alleged involvement in Lul Pab's death.

According to XXL Magazine, the accused include Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston. The individuals were reportedly a part of the hip-hop group, Only the Family, also known as OTF.

Prosecutors also claimed that an OTF member allegedly promised to bring opportunities for anyone in the music industry who would murder Quando Rondo. Furthermore, the prosecutors additionally stated that the expenses of the accused were covered through a credit card which was associated with OTF, which was formed by Lil Durk.

Multiple charges have been imposed on the arrested individuals such as conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, committing murder-for-hire involving a death, and use of a machine gun in a violent crime leading to death.

On the other hand, Durk was arrested as part of the investigation a day after the five suspects were taken into custody. XXL Magazine reported that he has been charged with murder-for-hire and further updates on the legal issue are currently awaited. As per the outlet, he would be soon transferred to the custody of U.S. Marshals from the Broward County Jail.

Quando Rondo managed to escape without injuries while Lul Pab was shot dead

As mentioned, Lul Pab died in a shooting incident in 2022 which happened near a gas station. Also known as Saviay'a Robinson, he was reportedly shot dead by three men who arrived in a white vehicle, as per XXL Magazine.

Lt. John Radke from the Los Angeles Police Department told ABC7 that they had no clue about the motive of the shooters since Pab and Rondo were simply pumping gas.

Lul was immediately taken to the hospital and was later pronounced dead due to his injuries. Rondo shared a tribute post through Instagram around two days later with a picture of Lul Pab. The post was deleted later. Rondo's representative also shared a statement with XXL Magazine related to the shooting incident and it reads:

"Quando was present during a shooting yesterday evening, which resulted in the untimely death of another young man's life. He himself didn't sustain any injuries during the shooting and is safe. We ask that his privacy is respected at this time."

Lul Pab was supposed to go for trial on RICO charges a week before being shot dead. The charges were imposed on him in 2019 along with 10 more people and the accusations included theft, fraud financial transactions, and more.

The accused were facing a 71-count indictment, which also claimed that Pab along with two other people were allegedly involved in a robbery of 10 cars that happened at the Chatham Parkway Collision Center in August 2017, as per Savannah Now.

Lul Pab's name was allegedly linked to two local cases where he was accused of fleeing from cops, burglary, theft, and cruelty to children. He was reportedly planning to plead guilty to a count of trying to evade a police officer. Notably, the charge was linked to an incident where he was once chased by the officers of the Seattle Police Department from Georgia to South Carolina.
