OVO Sound affiliate OVO Mark seemingly shared how Drake was feeling regarding Kendrick Lamar’s recent The Pop Out: Ken and Friends concert. It is worth noting that the Canadian rapper himself has not publicly addressed Kendrick nor his recent Los Angeles concert.
Today, OVO Mark took to his Instagram account to share a video of Drake. In his Instagram story, One Dance crooner can be seen jamming to music with his friends and wearing a sweatshirt that reads ‘REVENGE.’ In another Instagram story, Mark showed off a tour bus that read ‘REVENGE’ as well.
For those uninitiated, OVO Mark is a member of Drake’s OVO Sound. Not only does he boast a massive following of nearly 100,000 followers on Instagram, where he frequently shares Drake-related content, he is also an old friend of the singer.
Drake has neither released a song nor an album that is titled the same way. OVO Mark was likely promoting the singer’s upcoming venture. Drizzy had not shared any social media posts promoting the phrase at the time of writing this article.
Things to know about OVO Mark as he seemingly hints at Drake’ opinion on Kendrick Lamar
OVO Mark is one of Drake’s oldest friends. He reportedly serves as an advisor to Champagne Papi not only when it comes to business but also when it is related to Drizzy’s wardrobe choices.
OVO Mark frequently promotes Night Owl Sound on his official Instagram account. He frequently produces music through the same and also livestreams them on Spotify.
The last time OVO Mark mentioned Drake on his Instagram account was when the latter released his Kendrick Lamar diss track Family Matters. OVO Mark took to the social media page to share a screenshot of record producer Dave Fee commenting on a post with a black heart emoji and a hand signal that impersonates a heart.
Drake had posted the same screenshot as he was promoting his Kendrick Lamar diss track.
Kendrick Lamar performed his The Pop Out - Ken & Friends concert in Inglewood
Kendrick Lamar performed on Wednesday, June 19, for the first time ever following his feud with Drake. The event that took place in Inglewood, California’s Kia Forum, was live-streamed on Amazon Music Twitch, and Prime Video as well.
He started off the event by performing his Drake-diss song Euphoria. Eagle-eyed fans noted that Kendrick had changed one of the lyrics of the song. He crooned:
“I’m knowin’ they call you The Boy, but where is a man?/ ‘Cause I ain’t see him yet/ Give me Tupac ring back and I might give you a lil’ respect”
The original lyrics go:
“I'm knowin' they call you The Boy, but where is a man?/’Cause I ain't see him yet/Matter of fact I ain't even bleed him yet, can I bleed him?”
He also sang the chart-topping hit track Not Like Us. It appeared as if it was a fan favorite during the event, as Kendrick Lamar repeatedly performed the song five times.
Several industry legends made appearances during the concert, including Tyler The Creator, YG, Roddy Ricch, and Ty Dolla $ign among others.
