Rich Homie Quan’s sudden and tragic demise at the age of 33 has left the masses shocked. The rapper was found lying on the couch of his home on Thursday, September 5, 2024, by his girlfriend.

As per an audio clip of a conversation between Amber Williams, Rich Homie’s girlfriend, and the 911 operator, the girlfriend, and the mother of Rich Homie’s kids found him laying still. She stated to the 911 operator how he had not come to the bed the previous night and slept on the couch.

Amber claimed that she dropped off their son at the school, and when she came back, she found that Rich Homie Quan was not breathing, and his heart was not working. She also noted that his mouth foamed, and 911 rushed the paramedics to the scene, who declared him dead on the spot.

Rich Homie Quan gained fame with his hit single Type of Way and collaborated with artists like Young Thug and 2 Chainz. He was also part of the Rich Gang album, released by Young Money and Cash Money labels. Other members of Rich Gang included Birdman, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Bow Wow, and more.

Rich Gang was released in July 2013 and was a collaboration between Young Money and Cash Money. The album, consisting of 18 songs topped many charts globally, as it was in the 23rd position in the UK R&B Albums, number 9 on the US Billboard 200, and number 2 on US Billboard Top R&B, and Rap Albums.

Furthermore, apart from working with several artists for Rich Gang, he has also collaborated with many artists like Young Thug, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Outkast, YG, 2 Chainz and many more.
