Rapper and YouTuber Scru Face Jean recently released wAKked out murals, a diss track targeting DJ Akademiks. This began after Akademiks spoke about Jean during one of his live streams in response to some remarks made by Face. The rapper previously called out Ak for his unclear loyalties towards Drake.
The feud between Scru Face Jean and Ak began was a chain reaction caused by the sensationalized beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. In wAKkedout murals, Jean hit at Ak quite brutally.
The YouTuber referred to Ak's s*xual assault allegations along with times when Drake never showed up for his despite him being one of Drizzy's most vocal endorsers. In one part, Scru Face Jean rapped:
"Pick the debate or pick the ring/ and I'm a show up/ like Drake never does for your streams/ boys that's mean/ cuz you ride for that n*gga and his team..."
He further rapped:
"Is there one good reason that he won't work with you?/ He ain't hiding y'all from the world/ he hiding the world from you..."

As mentioned, Scru Face Jean is a popular name, particularly amongst artists from Nebraska. As per a report by artistecard.com, Jean had been the only artist from the state who had sold out the show at the Bourbon Theatre in Lincoln. In December 2015, Jean told Hear Nebraska:
"The way I look at it, the Leroy Cohens, the Russell Simmons’, when they started hip-hop, they were more like us than the generation after [theirs]. We’re privileged to more info, but when it comes to the indie market, it’s the Wild West still."
The rapper has not just restricted himself to being a local artist. Over time, he has toured with several others including Mark Battles (Def Jam), Futuristic, Skate Maloley, Derek Luh & Chevy Woods (Taylor Gang).
Scru Face Jean's 2014 album Black Caesar was one of the best and the most popular works that he had done to date. As mentioned by Hear Nebraska, the album was quite successful commercially as well.
As for the latest diss track by Face, it is still unclear if DJ Akademiks would respond back or just ignore it.
