Former G-unit member and rapper Young Buck is set to pay $250,000 to clear his debt to 50 Cent, marking a significant development in their long-standing feud over an alleged failure to meet contractual terms.

As per documents exclusively obtained by All Hip Hop, the US Trustee, Region 8, has instructed to dismiss 50 Cent's $250K lawsuit against Young Buck over his contract with G-Unit Records.

The decision came after Buck's assets were sold, which reportedly provided him with enough money to settle his debt to Cent alongside other outstanding claims. The rapper sold his jewelry, cars, and his catalog, raising $1023669.67 after liquidating the assets.

As per All Hip Hop, Buck will also pay $190K as an obligation to the IRS and his child support debt to be able to start earning from his rap career once again.

The Nashville rapper filed for bankruptcy in May 2020, allegedly to escape his G-Unit Records contract after a supposed fallout with 50 Cent. While Buck claimed the contract-related payments were advances for his future albums, Cent maintained they were loan payments to support the rapper during a poor financial situation.

The situation escalated as 50 Cent tried to stop Buck from filing for bankruptcy before the debt was repaid, while the rapper and his attorney claimed that he had no obligation to pay Cent back as the money was not given out as a 'loan.'

It appears that the feud has finally been settled, with Young Buck paying all his outstanding debts to 50 Cent as per the law.

In a January 2024 interview on the show Wild Ride! with Steve-O, Young Buck claimed he had no idea about the origin of his feud with 50 Cent. He said he did not know why the G-Unit leader has allegedly been sharing "false narratives" and "discrediting him." He added:

“I don’t know what I did to make him actually want to see me not feed my children."

During the interview, the rapper mentioned that he was late to attend it because he received some calls about his then-ongoing case with 50 Cent over the financial terms of his G-Unit Records contract.

Young Buck further added that he once looked up to 50 Cent. The rapper claimed he may have made some mistakes but questioned why Cent had allegedly been trying to stop him from feeding his kids. The rapper continued:

“It’s just like, ‘You rich, my man. You still doing your thing. I love your TV show Power, you know what I mean? Why are you doing this to me?! We was once brothers. I’ve always looked at you as big bro. Yes, I made mistakes too but I’ve never did anything to try to take food out of your mouth or stop you from eating. See how aggressive he is to me, is he trying to Ja Rule me?”

Two months after Buck's interview, 50 Cent reignited their beef by mocking the Nashville rapper for his alleged s*xual orientation. In March 2024, Cent shared an image of Buck on Instagram alongside an allegedly transgender man.

The image said, "That time Young Buck refused a pic with Caitlyn Jenner." In the caption, Cent wrote:

“Didn’t make sense when we was taking the pic, but it makes whole lot of sense now. That boy like them boys!”

Young Buck responded to 50 Cent's post via his Instagram stories shortly after and wrote:

“Dam bro @50cent… if ya miss me just say dat… Tell a n*gga happy birthday if you gone mention me.”

50 Cent has previously insinuated that Buck was in a relationship with a transgender person in another now-deleted post, where he said:

“If your in a relationship with a tranny, your gay. That’s a boy, Boy. It’s cool Buck you gonna be big down at the gay bars.”

The rappers have taken multiple jabs at each other during their feud, which now appears to have been settled with Buck repaying his debt to Cent by selling his assets.
