The release date for The Weeknd's upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow, is yet to be announced
As aforementioned, the recently released and quite loved music video of Dancing In The Flames is a part of The Weeknd's upcoming sixth studio album. This album will further complete the trilogy which already consists of two albums: After Hours released in 2020 and Dawn FM released in 2022.
The upcoming project was first teased earlier this year, in January. An official teaser was, however, dropped in July. As of now, no release date for the album has been revealed. In the music video, Weeknd could be seen driving through a snowstorm shortly before getting into what seemed like an accident.
In the end, the singer was seen lying unconscious on the ground while two medical professionals reached out to him and an ambulance stood in front. Slant reported that the makers had used the cinematic slow feature of the iPhone 16 Pro to shoot the video.
It is also worth noting that the upcoming album will form the foundation for The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy. It was one of the haunted mazes found at Halloween Horror Nights 2024, exclusive to Universal Studios Hollywood.
John Murdy, Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, spoke about the haunted maze called it "pretty wild." It had further been described to be "an authentic, one-of-a-kind horror experience with surprises at every turn."
The album title Hurry Up Tomorrow was revealed quite recently, on September 4, 2024. Several snippets of the artist's new songs were introduced to people during a one night concert at São Paulo, which took place on September 7.
As of now, The Weeknd's fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming album and other songs belonging to the project.
