Why couldn't Boosie Badazz perform at Iowa concert? Reason explored as rapper says police shut down the show

Boosie Badazz fans were left disappointed after the rapper’s concert scheduled in Iowa for August 10, 2024, was canceled by the Department of Public Safety. As per People Magazine, Boosie Badazz’s concert was canceled after two people were shot dead in the city over the weekend.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety claimed that the shooting took place at the I-29 Speedway in Pacific Junction in Iowa in a parking lot, on the day of the event.

As the event was canceled, Boosie Badazz took to Instagram and addressed the situation in a video. Sharing how he was unaware why the event was canceled, the rapper stated:

“They just shut the concert down. I’ve been in the back a couple of hours waiting to perform and the police just shut the concert down. I don’t know. Some s-h*t happened in the front.”

He then asked his fans to join him at a local nightclub, stating that “the party don’t stop.” The rapper also said he had no idea when he was going to perform next in the city.

Social media users and the rapper’s fans were upset after they got to know about the event being canceled. Boosie Badazz’s event was titled “The Pull Up Car Show and Music Fest,” and the rapper was one of the many artists who were scheduled to perform on the same day. The shooting led to the cancellation of the whole event, and as a result, none of the artists could perform.

However, fans can now see Badazz perform in Fort Worth, Texas on August 16, 2024, the tickets for which are still available on Ticket Master’s website. The rapper would also be performing on August 23, 2024, in Tacoma, Washington, and later in Baltimore on August 30, 2024.

On the other hand, as the Touch Down 2 Cause Hell rapper’s concert got canceled in Iowa, the authorities released a statement and said:

“The Mills County Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Iowa State Patrol, Omaha Police Department, and several surrounding law enforcement agencies.”

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has now requested the masses to share any information about the incident.

While the masses were left saddened after the cancellation of the event, the authorities have also named the two men who died in the shooting as Marcus L. Johnson and Charles A. Williams. The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are yet to reveal the motive behind the shooting.
