28-year-old American rapper Chief Keef was supposed to begin his A Lil Tour this month, which has now been postponed. On July 17, Keef took to Instagram to announce that the tour will be postponed because of some health issues he's facing.
In the Instagram story, Keef apologized for the situation and wrote:
"I apologize to all my fans. I know how much yall are expecting to see me and the Glo in yall city. But for health reasons Im postponing the tour until later this year. Yall can get a refund or hold onto your tickets for the new date. Be on the road real soon! – Sosa."
Live Nation also issued a statement to UPROXX on Chief Keef's behalf, citing that he got caught up in some medical emergency, and recovery from which would take some time. In the statement, Live Nation wrote,
"To my fans, I’m so sorry to announce this, but due to a medical emergency, I’ve been ordered to stay home to recover, so I have to postpone the tour."
No further update was revealed regarding when the tour was going to happen. Keef has, however, mentioned on his official website that it might happen somewhere later this year.

The American rapper released his fifth studio album Almighty So 2, on May 10, 2024. This was considered as the sequel for the rapper's previously launched mixtape Almighty So. The project also features several other artists, including Sexyy Red, Quavo, Lil Gnar, and Tierra Whack.
Comedian Michael Blackson also makes an appearance in the latest album. The album made it to the US Billboard 200 and US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, with ranks 30 and 10 respectively.

While describing the rapper and the tour, Live Nation Entertainment mentioned on their official site:

Shortly after the album's release, Keef made an announcement that he was going to conduct a tour titled A Lil Tour, this summer, in order to support the latest album. The tour was supposed to cover several North American cities, with its first show scheduled on July 16 in Boston at the MGM Music Hall.
After that, the rapper was expected to cover a number of other cities including Jacksonville, Miami Beach, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Charlotte, and Philadelphia, to name a few.
Chief Keef was then expected to do his last show of this tour on August 13, 2024, in San Francisco.
Before the tour was expected to start, Keef even performed in his hometown Chicago for the first time in several years to celebrate the release of his album.
The last time Chief Keef performed in his hometown was back in August 2012 for Lollapalooza.
Chief Keef had reportedly been working on an upcoming project with Sexyy Red
Recently, Sexyy Red revealed that she was working with Chief Keef on a new project. In an interview with Viper Magazine, at the London’s Wireless Festival, Red said,
"We dropping an album soon. We’ve been working."
She was further asked to describe the album a bit more, to which Sexyy Red said:
"We just be on some money sh*t. Some car sh*t, fast cars. F*ck these h*es. Buy some clothes. And keep your hair done [laughs]."
Sexyy Red and Chief Keef had collaborated in several projects together previously, including Damn Shorty, Grape Trees, and Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad). The duo first appeared together for Red's 2023 track Ghetto Princess.
In a March interview with Billboard, Keef spoke about Red, where he was asked why people seemed so intrigued by her. To this Keef responded and said:
"She just … you could tell she really just come from where we come from. S*it. I just know she f*ck with me real heavy. I f*ck with her too. Saying she wants to come through and I said ‘hell f*cking yeah.'"
The now-postponed tour of Chief Keef was supposed to be a huge comeback for the rapper. Fans are now waiting for further updates about it, but no information is available as of now.
