In February 2022, rapper DaBaby got into a physical altercation with DaniLeigh's brother Brandon Bills. Multiple videos of the fight that unfolded in a bowling alley show Brandon, DaBaby, and the rapper's entourage throwing punches at each other. Days after the altercation, Brandon Bills sued DaBaby for causing him physical and psychological damage.

The videos showed Brandon Bills approaching the rapper for a talk and it progressed into a full-fledged brawl. While it was initially reported that Bills started the fight, videos later revealed that it was indeed the rapper who punched first.

Since the fight took place in a bowling lane, it was extremely slippery and the men were trying to balance themselves throughout the fight. The footage also showed people getting bloodied during the brawl.

Brandon Bills sued DaBaby for $4 million

The same month, Brandon Bills sued the rapper, seeking compensation for the physical and psychological damage he had suffered. However, no news outlet quoted the exact amount.

Two years later, Bills reportedly filed an update on his lawsuit and revealed the exact amount he was asking for from the rapper as compensation. According to a report by In Touch Weekly, Bills has asked for $4 million as compensation, divided into two components. Half the amount would go towards damages and the other half towards special damages according to the report.

The In Touch Weekly report also stated that the Bills suffered "severe injuries, psychological damage, and medical bills" after the fight.

Since filing it two years ago, DaniLeigh's brother has reportedly struggled to serve the rapper with the lawsuit. According to a report by Radar Online, he filed a petition to the court to allow him to post an advertisement in a local newspaper to inform the rapper of the lawsuit.

The report also stated that Brandon hired a process server and a private investigator and tried several addresses in California and North Carolina but hadn't been able to hand the lawsuit to DaBaby.

American singer and songwriter DaniLeigh shares a child with DaBaby and the two were engaged in a huge brawl just before the rapper's altercation with Brandon Bills took place.

The rapper used his social media accounts to call out DaniLeigh's family and threatened to call the cops on her. He even kicked the mother of his child out of the house.

After the brawl between the rapper and DaniLeigh's brother went public, she reacted to the entire debacle on her Instagram Story.

"Lame as hell!!! Running up on my brother on some slippery a** floors with 5/6 of ya boys while he's by himself and not even touching him!!! Lame and soooo sad!!!! I pray this stops now!!! Bc this is my family! And I got a daughter to raise. Sad."

DaniLeigh deactivated her Instagram account after posting this status. However, her X account stays active to this day, but the singer has not written about the incident on X.
