Taylor Swift's dancer Kameron Saunders' phrase, "For the last time, no" on the closing night of the Eras Tour went viral on social media. Swift's recording-breaking concert ended on December 8, 2024, after a final show in Vancouver, Canada.

Kameron Saunders' viral phrase came during Taylor Swift's performance of the track, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together during the Red era (inspired by her 2012 studio album, Red). At one point during the performance, Swift said:

"It's exhausting, you know. Like we were never getting back together."

Swift then held the mic for Kameron Saunders among her dancers, who said:

"For the last time, no!"

Saunders' words were seemingly an allusion to the Eras Tour ending on that night as Swift and her dancers were "never getting back together" for another Eras Tour concert. The dancer's words began trending on X as Swift's fans, who call themselves Swifties, shared their thoughts on social media.

Fans were emotional to bid goodbye to Taylor Swift's tour spanning two years, which included 149 concerts. In each of her shows, Swift performed various tracks of her music spanning 18 years, touching upon each of her 14 albums as various eras focusing on each album. For instance, her eras included the Lover era, Reputation Era, 1989 Era, and Red Era among others.

One X user shared their thoughts on social media, writing:

"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" hits different on closing night,What a moment."

Another Swiftie claimed the moment was historical, adding:

"This moment will live in Swiftie history!"

A third fan went emotional, writing:

"Shut up I’m crying so hard."

Kameron Saunders is one of Taylor Swift's prominent backup dances in the record-breaking Eras Tour. He is also the only dancer in the lineup to have a speaking line in the concert.

During Taylor Swift's performance of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together in the Red Era, Kameron Saunders says the line "like ever" in different languages. The dancer's line is almost always guaranteed to receive cheers from fans. In the first 53 shows of the Eras Tour, Saunders delivered the line in English. However, once Swift went international with the tour, the dancer began delivering the line in several local languages depending on the tour's venue.

Kameron Saunders also notably featured in Taylor Swift's music video for I Can Do It With A Broken Heart from her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department. The video featured exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the Eras Tour for fans for the time since Swift's 1989 World Tour.

At the beginning of the video, Saunders was featured alongside other dancers who did the pre-show ritual handshake with Swift before she headed to the stage for her performance. Later in the video, Taylor Swift is seen handing over the mic to Saunders as he counts “one, two, three, four” with the music beat. He also featured in other BTS clips in the video, appearing in a burlesque-style feather fan alongside other dancers.

Since Swift introduced a segment dedicated to The Tortured Poets Department on the Eras Tour, Saunders performs his "one, two, three, four" count during the singer's performance of I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.

Saunders is also well-known for his solo dance alongside Taylor Swift during her performance of Bejeweled from her 2022 album, Midnights. On the final night of the Eras Tour in Vancouver, Saunders performed his final solo dance on the track and blew a kiss to Swift. The singer then ran over to hug him.

Saunders also has a brother, Khalen Saunders, who is a former player for the Kansas City Chiefs, where Swift's current boyfriend, Travis Kelce plays. In one of the Eras Tour shows at London's Wembley Stadium, Swift had brought Kelce on stage to the delight of her fans. Saunders was thrilled to be a part of the moment on stage, as he took to Instagram to share his excitement.

“I know I’m posting pics that everyone has already seen at this point but whatevs. I wanted to highlight this moment from London! Trav … I had the time of my life being an absolute HAM with you on stage," he wrote on Instagram.

For those uninformed, Kameron Saunders also has a day named after him in Kansas City. To honor his crucial impact on dance and performing arts, the dancer was honored after January 25th was named "Kameron Saunders Day of Dance" in Kansas City.
