In a candid revelation that has taken the hip-hop community by storm, Lil Tjay has addressed his ongoing feud with former Migos member Offset.

On January 8, 2025, during a Twitch livestream, Lil addressed his audience, claiming that fellow rapper Offset owed him $10,000. He also suggested that Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was financially struggling.

"Why I diss Offset? Offset broke," Lil said.

While there has been no documented feud between the two rappers, it is understood that the tension between them stems from the alleged demand for money, as reported by All Hip Hop.

Lil Tjay addresses tension with Offset over unpaid debt

On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Lil Tjay took to his Twitch account to address an incident involving his ongoing beef with Offset over an unpaid debt. He also shared how he ended up giving $10,000 to Offset.

While reading the comments on his Twitch stream, Lil Tjay indicated that he would reveal the true story behind his interaction with Offset. He recounted seeing Offset at a casino, where he was panicking and asking random people for money.

"I’ll tell y’all a true story, I seen the n**ga in the casino. He was popped, he was panicking. He was asking random people for cash apps, he was broke," Lil claimed.

Lil Tjay alleged that Offset was calling multiple people, but no one was answering his calls. He speculated that Offset may have a gambling addiction, as no one seemed to respond to his calls.

"I don’t know why but nobody was answering his phone call. He must got a gambling addiction," Lil added.

Lil Tjay then explained that he gave Offset $5,000, and somehow, the Georgia rapper managed to gather an additional $3,000 from others, including $1,000 from a random woman.

Lil further claimed he didn't mind giving Offset the first $5,000 but became upset when he gave him another $5,000. He voiced his frustration over not being paid back, despite Offset's fame and wealth, feeling that Offset had been evading the debt for a long time.

"That’s Offset. I’m good on my money. I’m not worries about this n**ga, I got mad bread. I see like 13 bands in loans. I don’t know who got paid back that day, you feel me. Word to my mother, this n**gas ducked me for so long, boy. Mind you, I’m 23 and this is ‘raindrop, drop-top,’ Cardi B husband," Lil further said.

This is not the first time Lil Tjay has addressed the issue of unpaid debt. On January 4, 2025, Lil shared a screenshot of an alleged Instagram conversation between him and Offset, in which he demanded his money back.

However, Offset appeared to take the conversation lightly. The alleged exchange began with Lil suggesting he would "smack the sh*t out you," to which Offset responded:

"lol huh u joking right. Just seen this pop up gotta be the wrong ninja u texting boy I’ll smoke you. U barely lived already who tf you think you talking too ninja. U gotta be talking to the wrong ninja. I’m in New York right now. Come smack me lil clown boy," Offset replied.

In the screenshot, Lil Tjay clarified that he was in Miami and just wanted his $10,000 back, with no other intentions.

Both rappers are famous and seemingly have no financial issues, but the exact nature of their beef remains unclear, as does when or how it will be resolved. To date, Offset has not responded to Lil Tjay's claims online.
