Singer Justin Timberlake postponed his show at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The 43-year-old musician took to Instagram to inform his fans that an injury prevented him from performing:
"I'm so sorry to postpone tonight's show. I have an injury that's preventing me from performing. I'm so disappointed to not see you all - but I'm working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give y'all the is you deserve."
Timberlake did not disclose the nature of the injury. The website for Prudential Center confirmed the show's cancellation, asking concertgoers to hold on to their tickets, adding:
"We are working with the artist's team on a rescheduled date that we hope to have information on as soon as possible. Please follow both artist and venue social media accounts for updates and keep an eye on your inbox for updates from your original point of purchase."

Wednesday's concert was part of the singer's Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which Justin Timberlake resumed in Montreal on October 4 after a month-long hiatus. During the show, the Can't Stop the Feeling hitmaker announced he was also celebrating his wedding anniversary with his wife Jessica Biel.
The singer gave a shoutout to Biel, who was seen wearing a baseball cap, standing near the stage. He told the audience:
"It's also a very special evening for me. My wife is here tonight. And tonight is our 12-year anniversary. So be nice to her, Montreal, because she's sharing me with all of you guys tonight."
Justin Timberlake could be seen putting a hand to his heart and telling her, "I love you, baby." He would later share the moment on TikTok. The Sinner actress responded under the comments section of the post, writing:
"Wouldn't want to spend it anywhere else."
Timberlake and Beil tied the knot on October 19, 2012, in Italy. The couple have two sons, Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4.
Jessica Beil is frequently seen cheering her husband on during his shows. In August, the 7th Heaven alum shared pictures of her enjoying the concert with the caption:
"Fan girl alert !!"
She was also spotted during a NYC show in June. Beil along with their sons were present when Justin Timberlake kicked off his tour in April.
Forget Tomorrow World Tour is Justin Timberlake's seventh headlining concert tour. It is in support of his 2024 album, Everything I Thought It Was. It began in Vancouver in April 2024 and will run through 2024, concluding with a gig in Paris next year.
Timberlake is scheduled to perform at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on October 11. The singer will next head to DC’s Capital One Arena on October 13, followed by a couple of concerts in Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on October 17 and 18.
There is no official word on the status of the upcoming shows.
