American singer Lana Del Rey has recently addressed the social media rumors regarding her alleged relationship with alligator guide Jeremy Dufrene. The Born to Die singer responded to a speculative Instagram post with a "No" comment, breaking her silence.

The rumors began circulating after Dufrene’s alleged family issue surfaced on social media, leading to speculation about the singer's involvement with him.

Meanwhile, once the rumor and her answer to the rumor went public, netizens took to social media platforms like X and Instagram to react. Some users on X expressed their doubts about Lana’s statement. One X user commented:

“Praise the lord but why does she know his whole family tree”

Other X users expressed similar sentiments online.

“She’s 39, doesn’t really matter, she could be dating the alligator as far as I care,” an X user asserted.

“She’s saw the hate and quickly broke up with him,” another one said.

“I just know she’s lying,” one user wrote.

Other netizens took to Instagram to support Lana Del Rey and claim that it was fake news and the account needed to delete the post.

Lana Del Rey debunked rumors regarding her alleged relationship with Jeremy Dufrene

The Tough singer recently posted a statement on Instagram regarding an "update on Lana Del Rey's new man" and their alleged family issues. On August 31, Del Rey responded to an Instagram post that claimed to provide an update on her new "beau.”

The post suggested that Del Rey was dating an alligator guide named Jeremy Dufrene. Del Rey was tagged in the post, which further stated:

“Lana’s new beau, is an alligator tour guide… who also recently separated from his wife. Jeremy’s daughter took to Twitter/X to share that she found out about her dad’s new romance with the stunning singer through social media and her thoughts on everything unfolding.”

It also implied that his daughter had presumably found the relationship online. According to Billboard, in the now-edited post, a screenshot of an alleged text message exchange between Dufrene and his "daughter" about his rumored relationship with the singer was previously uploaded.

Additionally, a tweet from the "daughter" was displayed, saying:

“He doesn’t understand social media, I'm in tears” and “everyone is fighting.”

Later, an update to the Instagram post featured a new tweet from her, saying:

"I barely talk to my dad, let alone care about his love life. I’m just shocked WHO he’s dating."

The alleged same person later took to X to react in a similar fashion and wrote:

“GHIS IS HOW I FIND OUT MY DAD IS DATING LANA DEL REY? (!2!;? HELLO???????”

Nevertheless, Del Rey responded to the claims on social media by refuting them. She firmly replied "No" to the Instagram post and clarified that the disputed X account did not belong to Dufrene's daughter.

In the Instagram post's comment section, the Art Deco singer stated:

"Also, that’s not his daughter on Twitter."

A few days before this, on August 24, Dufrene and Del Rey were spotted holding hands at the Reading and Leeds Festival. The next day, Jeremy and Lana were spotted holding hands as they left the festival premise.

Then, again on August 27, a Reddit member posted a picture of the two having lunch at Harrods Store in London.

As per PEOPLE, Dufrene and Del Rey have known each other for many years. The singer joked in the caption of one of her 2019 Facebook photos from an airboat journey with Dufrene,

"Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours."

In the photo, Del Rey could be seen with her friends. She also took a photo with Dufrene in front of the aircraft.
