Charlamagne Tha God recently discussed a viral claim about Sean “Diddy” Combs and Reginald VelJohnson. During the May 29 episode of Andrew Schulz's Flagrant with Akaash Singh podcast, the radio host said the music mogul was once caught having physical intercourse with the Family Matters star who played the protagonist, Carl Winslow in the show.

The claim was first brought up in April by the comedian Luce Cannon during his appearance on an episode of the Drinx with Ginx podcast. Luce claimed to have accidentally caught the Family Matters actor in an intimate position with Diddy.

After a 2016 footage of Combs beating his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura was released earlier this month, several other stories and rumors about the Bad Boy Records founder began circulating online.

One such rumor involved Reginald VelJohnson, and due to the unexpected nature of the claim, the iconic actor started trending on X. The gossip surrounding this further escalated in April when an X post claimed the actor himself addressed his relationship with Diddy in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

X Community Notes debunked the post, clarifying that Reginald VelJohnson did not speak about this matter. However, Reginald's picture attached to the post was taken from an ET interview, where he discussed playing Carl Winslow, the iconic TV dad on ABC's hit sitcom, Family Matters.

During the May 29 podcast, as the hosts and the guests were discussing the 2016 surveillance footage and rumors about Diddy’s s*xuality, Andrew Schulz said he doesn't think that Combs is gay.

Rather, Schulz said that everything is about power for the music mogul and how he can exert this power on people. While mentioning the various rumors there have been about Combs, Schulz said:

“We got Carl Winslow.”

Charlamagne chimed in:

“That’s what I was trying to get at this whole time … that is the wildest story that came out of a lot of this sh*it.”

The clip from the Drinx with Ginx podcast was then played where Luce Cannon spoke about attending parties at Diddy's house.

He said the first party he attended was the worst and the other times he left early. Describing one of his experiences at one such party, Luce said he heard some panting noise from one of the rooms inside Combs' house.

As implied by the comedian, the sound was coming from some intimate activities in that room, and he wondered who the individuals could be. Luce said he liked to joke and goof around, so he kicked the door open:

"I go busting the door, I look up, I see Carl Winslow."

He further insinuated a little about the exact position in which he caught the Family Matters actor in the middle of the act with Combs. However, it's to be noted that this claim hasn't been confirmed by either of the parties involved.

After the clip from this podcast ended, Charlamagne Tha God said:

"Why is that not being talked about more?"

Akaash Singh chimed in that he also heard rumors about Carl Winslow's actor Reginald VelJohnson being gay. Charlamagne added that this story about Diddy and the actor got swept under the rug amidst all the other rumors involving the record executive. However, he only saw 50 Cent repost it.

Charlamagne also said in the 90s that Wendy Williams got fired from Hot 97 for claiming that Combs was gay.
