According to Revolt, the rapper failed to pay the fee from a recording deal in May 2017. The management company claimed that it had reached out to the rapper many times for the payment, but he had allegedly refused to cooperate. No further information regarding this lawsuit is known.
In 2023, an unnamed woman came forward and accused the rapper of failing to uphold his financial agreement for keeping her pregnancy a secret from his then-fiancée, Tori Brixx.
According to The Source, Rich met the woman after his Boston concert on January 28, 2023. She alleged that they slept together. After discovering she was pregnant, she reached an agreement with the rapper to terminate the pregnancy for an undisclosed amount in March 2023.
In her lawsuit, she claimed that while the rapper made two payments, he still owed her $25,000, which he refused to pay. She sued him in a Massachusetts court, and the case was settled in January 2024, with Rich The Kid ordered to pay $45,000.
Despite these legal troubles, Rich The Kid is set to release his fourth studio album, Life's a Gamble, on July 19, 2024.
