Drake has recently made headlines after he seemingly teased the arrival of new music on his social media handle. The rapper took to his Instagram Story on January 25, 2025, where he added a photo of two yellow jerseys, and one of them featured an owl. He wrote below the picture:

"Owls taking flight soon."

Notably, Drizzy has yet to make an official announcement about his new music. However, he released some diss tracks last year when he had a dispute with Kendrick Lamar and a few of them such as Push Ups and Family Matters managed to reach on top of the Billboard charts.

On the other hand, netizens took to the comments section of a post by Kurrco on X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions to Drake's alleged tease. One of them made fun of Drizzy for seemingly posting a tease for his fans as he wrote:

"Why is he teasing his fans. He is about to hop on a plane but pump faking like Lucian gave him the permission to drop. Boy stop!"

Other responses continued, with several users putting forward their opinions.

"He'll defo release something before he goes", a user wrote on X.
"Drake running away from the Super Bowl performance", an X reaction mentioned.
"No one cares", one of the reactions reads.

A fan of Drizzy wrote that his new music will "outshine" Lamar's performance at the Super Bowl. Lamar's fans also stepped in, with one of them expressing his support for the upcoming Super Bowl.

"This about to outshine the Super Bowl", another X reaction reads.
"February 9 Bowl [fire emoji], a netizen commented.
"Australia has a bigger population than the the Super Bowl… the boy playing checkers not chess!", an X user reacted.

Drake has included some new shows in his upcoming Australian tour

Drizzy started trending in November last year after he announced the Anita Max Wynn Tour while speaking on a live-streaming session with gaming streamer xQc. Drake confirmed the starting date of the tour by saying:

"February 9th for anybody that's watching from Australia, I'm coming back to Australia for the first time in eight years. Coming back to Australia on tour."

According to Live Nation Asia, the tour originally had seven shows, with the final one happening at the Spark Arena in New Zealand on March 1, 2025. However, a few more dates were added to the tour around a week ago, where two performances were scheduled for February 4 and 5 at Perth's RAC Arena, as per Time Out magazine.

Extra dates were also added for the performances that are happening at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney alongside the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. It remains to be seen if Drizzy will add any more shows in the upcoming days.
