Rapper The Game, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is reportedly set to face significant legal and financial challenges after a recent court ruling. Priscilla Rainey, the TV personality, sued Taylor in 2015 during the filming of The Game's VH1 reality show at a bar in Markham, Illinois, accusing him of s*xual battery.
Rainey won the lawsuit against Taylor, winning $7 million in the final judgment from The Game in 2016, as per The Shade Room. As Taylor did not pay the amount, Rainey filed another lawsuit in 2021, which she won in December 2023.
As a result of the lawsuit's final judgment, All Hip Hop reported that the rapper's house is now reportedly at risk of being seized to satisfy the court's order.

The Game faces legal battle: Priscilla Rainey's $7m lawsuit explained
The lawsuit battle dates back to August 2015 during the filming of She's Got Game, a production patterned on The Bachelor, with Taylor, as he was the main lead of the reality show. As per Case Text, in May 2015, Taylor took Rainey off-camera to a meeting at Adrianna's Sportsbar in Markham, Illinois.
As per the publication, The Game allegedly s*xually assaulted her by lifting her skirt and reaching his hand under her dress, resulting in Rainey filing a lawsuit of s*xual battery against the rapper.
At the initial hearing from October 2015 to November 2015, Rainey's attorney told the court that they faced difficulty delivering legal documents to Taylor.
As per Hip Hop, Rainey initially demanded $10 million in damages from the rapper. As a result, in 2016, Taylor mentioned in a now-deleted Instagram post and suggested that conclusions based solely on the allegations should not be drawn quickly.
He further claimed that Rainey's lawsuit was intended from the beginning and he had never done wrong to the TV star —
"Don't be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines cause. Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her," he wrote.
He continued:
"She got kicked off the show & as a result she filed this lame lawsuit which was probably her intentions before the show was ever even started."
According to a Hollywood reporter, Circuit Judge TK Sykes summarized the case background that year and suggested that The Game did not take the litigation "seriously." The Judge added that Taylor trolled Rainey online and did not come for trial. As a result, the Judge denied Taylor's continuance request —
"Taylor did not take the litigation seriously. He evaded process, trolled Rainey on social media, dodged a settlement conference, and did not bother to show up at trial. His attorney asked for a continuance, but the Judge denied that request, dismissing Taylor's proffered excuse as an elaborate ruse," Judge wrote.
Therefore, in November 2016, the jury awarded Priscilla Rainey $1.13 million in compensatory damages and $6 million in punitive damages, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
As per The Jasmine Brand, Rainey's attorney, P. James Rainey, claimed his client had received $500,000 from the final judgment amount. The attorney also alleged that The Game had "conspired" and transferred his assets to his manager, Wack 100, and said that they did not intend to pay the lawsuit amount —
"Rainey has collected approximately $500,000.00 on the $7,130,100.00 Judgment, which is exclusive of interest and costs," the attorney claimed.
"[Wack 100] and [The Game] conspired together to transfer and conceal assets by transferring them among themselves and shell companies under their control," the attorney further stated.
According to the legal documents obtained by Radar Online, to address the property transfer claims, Rainey and Wack 100 testified at the trial while Taylor was not there. In addition, Wack 100 claimed that the property was transferred as The Game had to pay a debt to Wack 100.
As per the publication, the jury nullified and voided the Wack 100's claims and canceled the transfer of ownership. Further, the court heard that Taylor had to pay the total amount, which speculated that The Game may lose his house.
The rapper had not addressed any of the claims yet.
