Kodak Black opened up on his Percocet addiction during one of his performances this year
Also known as Bill Kahan Kapri, he appeared in a show in Los Angeles in June 2024, where he took a break for some time to speak up on his experience with Percocet addiction. He addressed the impact of the addiction, admitting that he claimed in the single Super Gremlin that he once used a fake Percocet.
Kodak Black said he regretted what he did and addressed the same by adding:
"I'm like, 'Damn, I don't wanna say this sh*t, but I know this b*tch gon' go in.' But we ain't gon' play like that, bruh. When I was at my stage, chewing on them Percs, I ain't gonna say I popped them b*tches."
Kodak Black also recalled the time when he took drugs before going on stage. He said he chewed hundreds of Percs every day and continued:
"Average! Bruh, I say that I'm explaining myself now. I don't want y'all to hear that and take that and feel like it's okay to do that sh*t, ya feel me?"
Furthermore, Kodak Black appeared in an Instagram Live session last month, saying he would discontinue performing Super Gremlin because of his journey to sobriety. The song was released in 2021 and reached third on the US Billboard Hot 100.
