"As a muthaf**ka that turns 40 this year, I'm not obligated to stay up here while muthaf**kas keep disrespecting me. I don't want to sound like an a*shole, but you wouldn't stay up here if you just kept getting disrespected like that..."

He added:

"I’m not pissed or anything, but it’s only so much s***t I’m going to take. I’m not a f*****g clown. I’m not gonna sit up here and get pies thrown in my face."

Mississippi Valley Fair's general manager hinted at change in rules for the audience, after the incident at the T-Pain show

After alleged unruly behavior at T-Pain's concert at the Mississippi Valley Fair, organizers announced they would review the rules after the event. The venue already had banners prohibiting throwing objects at the stage.

The signs read:

"For the safety of our patrons and entertainers, no throwing of any objects will be allowed. Patrons caught throwing anything will be escorted off the premise by security."

General Manager Shawn Loter reportedly mentioned that the new rules might be coming after what transpired at the recent show. Loter called out the act of throwing things at the stage. He mentioned that such acts might just injure somebody and added that he'd press charges if the alleged person was caught by authorities.

As per KWQC, he said that such behavior would not, however, impact the big-shot artists from performing at the venue. He mentioned that such incidents have been reported in several places already.

According to Shawn Loter, these actions would just compel the artists to get off stage and end their concert. Loter claimed that even then they would be paid as per previous agreements.

He continued:

"So you know, that’s, that’s it’s going to be a struggle. So it’s just just come into concert, have a good time."

The General Manager further cited another incident caused by disrespectful and unruly concertgoers. Earlier this week, an employee who was responsible for scanning the tickets was knocked over by the crowd, which ended up in her hospitalization as well. While the employee was doing fine, as reported by KWQC, the venue authorities had to put more emphasis on security after the incident.

While talking about the possible upcoming change in rules, Loter explained that T-Pain did a great job at his performance. The General Manager praised the rapper for positively handling the situation and how he called out the wrong behavior by the concertgoers.

As per WQAD, Scott County Sheriff Tim Lane explained that a small group of intoxicated people often caused trouble at concerts. He urged first responders to stay near the stage for quick action.

Mississippi Valley Fair was expected to witness American singer Bret Michaels' show on Friday, August 2. According to Shawn Loter, security was tightened before Michaels' concert. Before the show, the venue authorities added that if any concertgoer got caught throwing things at the artists on stage and if they hit someone, they could be charged with assault.
