Olivia Rodrigo shocked fans when she fell through a stage trapdoor during her Guts world tour stop in Melbourne, Australia, on Monday night (October 14). In a fan-captured video circulating all over social media, the Drivers License singer can be seen hyping up the crowd while running across the stage. However, she didn't see that there was an opening on the stage and fell right through it.

Although she managed to grab the ledge and pull herself back up to laugh with the crowd and continue performing, the incident got her fans' attention. In the video, the audience gasped as the pop star plunged below the stage. They also took to social media to share how "scary" the incident was.

"Wow that's pretty scary, she's lucky she didn't get more injured. I probably would've cried if I was her and had to stop the show," a fan on Reddit commented.

More fans questioned why there was a hole on the stage in the first place and called it "dangerous." They commented that the concert mishap could have seriously injured Olivia Rodrigo, and they're glad that wasn't the case.

"That could have ended badly so thank goodness she's fine and laughing about it. I wanna know why that hole was open when it shouldn't have been tbh," a fan on X commented.
"Holy sh*t that's so dangerous. It's fortunate that it wasn't head first and that she fell with her feet on the ground. Get securities or a baby pen around or something @LiviesHQ," a user on X wrote.
"Omg? That could've hurt I hope she is okay... the stage team really should take care of such things," another fan on X chimed in.

Other fans praised the Deja Vu singer for how professional she was during the entire ordeal. They pointed out how she didn't lose her cool and kept her composure despite how scary the fall was.

"Glad to hear she took it in stride! Shows her fun personality," an X user wrote.
"She handled this SOOOOOO well. Holy cow.. This could have been beyond horrible and she could have been pretty severely injured. Wow," a Reddit user commented.
