Keith Urban performed one of his hit singles at the event
As mentioned, the Whangārei, New Zealand native was one of the hosts for the New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash on Tuesday. However, he even performed on stage at the same time, considering that he was revealed to be the third headliner for the event in October this year, as per American Songwriter.
The event was held at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville, and Urban performed his song Straight Line. The single was released in February 2024 and received a positive response from critics.
Apart from Urban, the other headliners were Jelly Roll and Kane Brown, and the event witnessed almost 200,000 people.
Keith's Straight Line was included in the soundtrack of his latest album, High, which came out on September 20, 2024. The project gained recognition for two more singles, Messed Up as Me and Go Home W U, released in March and May of the same year.
Furthermore, the album managed to grab the 38th spot on the US Billboard 200.
