NBA superstar LeBron James was recently seen dancing to Kendrick Lamar's TV Off, causing a stir on the internet. TV Off is a part of Lamar's sixth studio album, GNX. Released on November 22, 2024, the track features guest vocals by rapper Lefty Gunplay.

At one point, LeBron James and Drake shared public admiration for each other, which is seemingly not the case in 2024. After the infamous diss track feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, LeBron James was also seen dancing at K Dot's Pop Out concert on Juneteenth (June 19).

In the concert, Lamar performed the Not Like Us diss track six times, including an instrumental version. Additionally, Drake, or Aubrey Drake Graham, unfollowed LeBron James on Instagram a few months back.

On November 29, LeBron James was seen warming up before a Lakers game. He then rapped and swayed to the beats when TV Off started blaring through the speakers. The 39-year-old even sang the now-viral 'Mustard' chant and rapped Kendrick Lamar's hook. He continued dancing while taking shots throughout the song's runtime.

The video of LeBron James' pre-match dance has gone viral on the internet, with several fans reacting to the same. Some popular comments on X are as follows:

"Yea he don’t gaf about Aubrey’s feeling," a fan wrote on X.
"LeBron know he team Kendrick," another chimed in.
"The king acknowledging the goat of rap," wrote another.

Several fans quipped about Drake clashing with LeBron James because the latter allegedly supported Kendrick Lamar.

"Drake about to sue LeBron for dancing on a Kendrick tune?" one user added.
"Drake about to follow then unfollow Bron on IG again," another joked.
"Drake on the phone with his lawyer trying to see how they can add LeBron to the petition because him dancing hurt his feelings," one netizen joked on X.

Some other comments and reactions on X are as follows:

"Damn, according to Drake, playing K Dot songs everywhere is brainwashing the masses," one wrote.
"Don’t make this a Bron not cool with Drake no mo thing. Drake is my favorite rapper but I respect greatness and still listen to Kendrick & J Cole because I love their music just as much as Drake’s," a user declared.
"I’ve officially changed my stance. LeBron James is the undisputed [goat] of basketball," declared another.

Exploring the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar

The infamous feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has been described by experts as one of the most iconic diss track battles in hip-hop history. At the beginning of their careers, the two titans were on favorable terms and even collaborated on songs like Buried Alive Interlude (2011) and Poetic Justice (2012).

Their feud began in earnest when Kendrick Lamar dissed Drake and other contemporaries in his verse on Big Sean's Control (2013). However, he later clarified that the verse was only meant to be friendly banter.

Fast forward to March 22, 2024, Lamar dissed Drake and J. Cole in his collaborative track Like That, which was a response to their 2023 song First Person Shooter. In that track, J. Cole referred to himself, Drake, and K Dot as the "big three" in rap.

In April 2024, Drizzy released Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle, firing shots at Kendrick Lamar. However, he had to take down Taylor Made Freestyle, after late rapper Tupac Shakur's estate sued Drizzy for copyright violations. Then, Lamar responded by releasing Euphoria on April 30 and 6:16 in LA on May 3.

However, the feud reached its peak when Drizzy released Family Matters on May 3, accusing Lamar of domestic violence. The Canadian rapper also alleged that one of K Dot's children was fathered by Dave Free.

In response, Kendrick Lamar released Meet the Grahams less than an hour later, launching a personal attack on Drake. The track was composed as a letter addressing Drizzy's family members, including his son Adonis and parents Dennis and Sandra Graham. In the song, K Dot accused Drizzy of s*x trafficking and of fathering a secret second child.

A day later, he followed it up with Not Like Us, which went on to become one of the most popular tracks of Kendrick Lamar's musical career. In the song, he referred to Drizzy as a "certified p*dophile" and accused him of disrespecting hip-hop.

On May 5, Drake responded with The Heart Part 6, denying all the allegations and claiming that his team fed wrong information to Lamar about a secret child.

Most recently, in November 2024, Drake filed two pre-action petitions against Universal Music Group (UMG), accusing the music label of associating with Apple, Spotify, and iHeart to artificially inflate the popularity of Not Like Us.
