Yngwie Malmsteen 40th anniversary US tour: Dates, venues, & all you need to know

Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen is hitting the road for a US tour as he prepares to celebrate four decades of his solo career. The Grammy-winning artist took to social media this Monday, June 17, and revealed the dates of the 40th-anniversary tour beginning on September 26.

The fall tour covers 35 cities across the United States and at least two cities in Canada. The forthcoming tour which spans over five weeks will be supported by performances from singer-songwriter Kurt Deimer on all dates.

The inaugural concert of Malmsteen's celebratory tour will be held in Florida at The Ranch Concert Hall in Fort Myers. The legendary artist will host three more shows in Florida at Clearwater's Caital Theater, Mt Dora Music Hall, and The Moon in Tallahassee.

Malmsteen will head to Canada on October 2 for a Charlottesville's Jefferson Theater concert. The tour back in the U.S. will include performances in Plattsburgh, Pawtucket, New Haven, Boston, Woodstock, Millville, and Buffalo. The legendary guitarist will also take the stage at St. Charles' Arcada Theater, Denver's Oriental Theater, and Tacoma's Temple Theater.

Touring through the United States, Yngwie Malmsteen will continuously headline concerts at the Granada Theater in Dalles, Portland's Hawthorne Theater, and Roseville's Goldfields venue. He will also make stops in Los Angeles, Anaheim, Agoura Hills, San Diego, and Oklahoma City.

The 60-year-old artist will begin November with a concert at the Tulsa Theater in Oklahoma. Yngwie Malmsteen will next head to the Lone Star State - Texas - on November 2 for four successive performances. The Texas concerts will be hosted at San Antonio's Vibes Event Center, Austin's Come & Take It Live, Houston's Warehouse Live, and the Trees venue in Dallas.

Yngwie Malmsteen will also take the stage in Kentucky, Lorain, and Columbus. He will head to Canada on November 10 for another one-off concert at the Tallyho Theater in Leesburg. As he returns to the U.S. on November 14, Malmsteen will perform at Ashland's Paramount Arts Center, Oakmont's Oaks Theater, and New Jersey's Newton Theater.

If there are no changes to the United States tour itinerary, the Grammy-winning artist will end the tour with the November 18 performance at New York's Gramercy.

People interested in attending Yngwie Malmsteen's U.S. tour can reserve their seats by booking the tickets through the 'regulars presale' beginning at 10 a.m. EDT on June 19. The official platinum tickets are also available on presale starting June 19.

The designated venues will begin in-person and website presales at 10 a.m. EDT on June 20. The general public can also get admission tickets starting the next day, June 21, at 10 a.m. EDT. A limited number of official platinum tickets will also go on open sale for over three months starting June 21.
