Rapper Ice Cube recently reassured fans at a concert that he won't get entangled in Sean "Diddy" Combs' current legal troubles. He further assured the audience that he and fellow Westside Connection member WC have never attended one of Diddy's infamous "freak-off" parties.
On Sunday, September 22, Ice Cube informed the audience at Highland, California's Yaamava Theater, saying,
"Almost 40 years, rockin' the mic. And I'ma tell you right now, me and Dumb C ain't never been to a Diddy party, motherf*cker."
He continued,
"Thank God! You ain't gotta worry about us on them motherf*cking tapes. That's it. He's sh*t out."
He further added,
"Anybody in here that have … I got one thing to say to yo *ss. If you've ever been to one of those parties, boy or girl, you better check yourself before you wreck yourself."
Ice Cube recently opened up about Diddy and his connection with him
Following Combs' arrest, West Coast rapper Ice Cube recently came out to assure his followers that he is not on any of the videos the federal authorities have taken from Diddy's place. It happened after the rapper declared on Sunday that he had no connection to Diddy and had never attended his events.
Cube's assurance came two months after an incident in July 2024, where he said Diddy was the subject of a conspiracy. He further said the accusations of s*xual assault against him were part of a scheme to bring him down.
On Monday, July 15, on Patrick Bet-David's PBD Podcast, the N.W.A co-founder opened up about the numerous s*xual assault cases against Diddy.
Patrick and Ice Cube discussed various subjects during the podcast, including the rapper's childhood, his friendship with late rap legend Tupac Shakur, and much more. Midway through the lengthy talk, Diddy's legal issues are roped into the conversation.
Ice Cube began by stating,
"How could you be surprised with anything that happens in Hip Hop? Hip Hop is the Wild West, so you are going to have the good, you're going to have the bad, you're going to have the ugly."
He continued by questioning the accounts of Diddy's reported victims, claiming,
"I believe he's being targeted. I believe somebody has the power to pull the trigger to make this stuff just domino effect happen."
However, Cube also stated that he "lost contact with him and stopped dealing with Diddy around '94" and that he has never been to one of his events.
Nevertheless, contrary to Ice Cube's opinion in Diddy's case, federal agents have claimed to have discovered proof of the singer's long-rumored "freak-off" parties when the rapper was detained on September 16, as per the indictment. The indictment went on to say that he would often force women to engage in daylong s*xual activities with male commercial s*x workers and also distribute drugs.
Furthermore, it was stated in the document that many of the alleged victims have asserted that they were given drugs and made to perform as "freak-offs" for days on end.
Moreover, during his home raids in Miami and Los Angeles, they found over a thousand bottles of baby oil and personal lubricant. It is rumored that these bottles were used to restock the hotel rooms for his after-hours escapades.
A tape recording of Diddy's alleged "freak-offs" was also taken by the federal officials. The FBI also claimed that the recordings featured "well-executed and planned s*xual acts" that the rapper "oversaw, engaged in m*sturbation during, and frequently captured on electronic devices."
Additionally, rappers other than Ice Cube have also distanced themselves from Diddy in the wake of his arrest on allegations of conspiring to commit racketeering, s*x trafficking by coercion, deception, or forced pr*stitution.
While Method Man maintains that Diddy's arrest has nothing to do with hip-hop as a culture, former Bad Boy artist and politician Shyne Barrow has cautioned the public not to identify him with the fallen entrepreneur who "destroyed his life."
Furthermore, Ice Cube has yet to say anything more about the matter as of writing this article.
