On Thursday, August 8, Yung Miami had opened up about her relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs, on her podcast Caresha Please. Upon being asked by her friend Saucy Santana why she didn't weigh in on the recent allegations against the mogul, she stated she was on good terms with the rapper and never had an unpleasant experience with him.

Miami's views on the entire Diddy-drama made netizens furious and ended up criticizing her. Meanwhile, Santana, who is also a long-time friend of the 30-year-old rapper, came to defend her. Santana called out the netizens for apparently wanting the truth at first, and then going after Miami when she was transparent.

In the video, Saucy Santana was heard saying,

"If she was trying to save his face, she could've did it a long time ago... That was the truth take it!... You can't get mad at someone for their truth."

He further stated,

"You can't get mad at someone about their truth. Whatever happened to [someone else in the] past, we don't neglect that, we don't say that it didn't happen, and we don't condone it."

Santana added that while Yung Miami didn't speak anything particularly against Diddy, that didn't mean she neglected the experiences and the allegations that someone else might have faced.

More about Yung Miami's statements about Diddy and her past relationship with him

Yung Miami had finally broken the silence about the assault allegations against Diddy. Her thoughts, however, didn't sit well with netizens who claimed that she went too easy with him. In her statements, Miami said that she had a good professional relationship with Diddy and was on good terms.

The timeline of Diddy and Yung Miami's relationship traces back to June 2022, when the former couple confirmed their relationship. However, rumors of their dating had been around for quite before that. Diddy appeared on the Caresha Please podcast as well. He spoke about Miami, and said,

"Caresha tells me [things] like, 'Don't be in ya head.' You're just a good friend. Everybody that’s a friend of yours will tell you that you’re a great friend."

In a September 2022 interview with XXL, Miami mentioned they were seeing other people even while dating each other. In the interview, she further said,

"We are dating. We single, but we’re dating. People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single."

The same year, Yung Miami even appeared in the remix version of Gotta Move On. In November, the former couple found themselves in the middle of breakup rumors. Diddy and Miami reportedly broke up eventually, the speculations about which were confirmed by the latter in April last year.
