Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey has shared his candid reaction after tasting a viral Diet Coke concoction by Dua Lipa. Over the weekend, the Levitating songstress shared a recipe on TikTok where she created a mocktail made of Diet Coke, pickle juice, and jalapeno peppers.

The TikTok clip started with Dua Lipa and her friends in a restaurant where she poured herself a can of Diet Coke. However, the ingredients she added to the Diet Coke stirred up quite a buzz online.

Dua Lips mixed some pickle juice into her fizzy drink and topped it with a generous helping of jalapeno sauce. After that, she gave it a good shake to mix the ingredients. Users also noticed sliced pickles and jalapenos floating on top of her drink.

The pop star tasted her drink and made her friends try it. While some liked it, others found it "too pickly."

Now, Gordon Ramsey has tried the viral recipe in another viral TikTok video, commenting that he had to test Dua Lipa's new concoction.

"Seriously," he muttered before taking the first swig, which was followed by him spitting it out almost instantaneously.

“Dua Lipa, for god’s sake girl! You’ll ruin your vocal cords! Sh*t!” remarked a thoroughly spluttered Gordon Ramsey, almost choking up.

Diet Coke with jalapeno peppers and pickle juice isn't the only combination Dua Lipa has shared on the internet. The songstress once put her own spin on ice cream by mixing it with unusual ingredients.

Dua Lipa came up with a new combination when she revealed that vanilla ice tastes good when mixed with olive oil and a dash of flaky sea salt. In a November 2023 Radio 1 talk show with Greg James, she revealed that the combination of olive oil and vanilla ice cream was her go-to recipe when she craved something sweet. She also urged host Greg James to give it a shot.

The recipe took off, and millions of her fans across the world gave the combination a shot. Although initially skeptical, the dish quickly started garnering fame and was turned into a luxury dessert by netizens.

However, the concept of putting olive oil in ice cream isn't new; it is a culinary delicacy in Italy called 'gelato con olio e sale.'

In the same interview, Dua revealed that she isn't a big fan of chocolate ice cream, preferring a chocolate bar over its ice cream variant. Talking to Greg James, she said:

“I don’t think chocolate ice cream is that good. It’s not an ice cream problem. I think like I love pistachio ice cream, you know, hazelnut ice cream, anything else apart from chocolate ice cream. I just find it so heavy and rich.”
