During a September 3 Instagram Live, Ralo threw shade at fellow rapper Boosie Badazz. He claimed to be happy as a label’s CEO rather than having a rap career like the latter in his 40s.
“I ain’t tryna be on stage like Boosie rapping when he 40, 50 years old,” Ralo stated.
As soon as Boosie caught wind of the matter, he took to X and shot back at Ralo.
“I HAVE NOT SPOKE ON YOU IN YEARS @ralofamgoon. U STILL HURT BY WHAT U DID, WHAT U DID, lol. I’M GRATEFUL THAT I’M STILL MAKING 150k A WEEKEND N SELLING OUT SHOWS. U DON’T HAVE A RAP CAREER N WILL NEVER HAVE ONE,” the Baton Rouge rapper wrote.
In a follow-up post, Badazz also shared a screenshot of his concert offers, ranging between $45,000 to $54,000 per show.
Exploring the latest feud between Boosie and Ralo
Atlanta rapper and record producer Ralo dissed Boosie during a social media live session on Tuesday, saying he was “happy” signing artists and being a CEO of a label, rather than rapping on stage like the Heartfelt rapper even during his middle age.
Ralo mentioned how he was trying to “pull up” and secure his future, before turning “old one day.” He also hinted that Badazz often “slipped” and offended people, and he was going to take lessons from it.
“I don’t answer to nobody but God… Imma do the right thing by the people,” the 29-year-old added.
In the wake of this, Boosie wrote a lengthy response on X and clapped back at Ralo. He said that he hadn’t spoken to the latter in years, who was “hurt” by things he himself did wrong.
The Bad Azz Music Syndicate founder also claimed that while Ralo did not have a hip-hop career, he was making $150,000 every week from simply doing shows.
“N U RIGHT U SHOULD BE A CEO CAUSE ONE THING YOU CAN'T DO ‘IS MAKE MUSIC.’ GOD DID NOT GIVE U THAT TALENT #leavehiphopalone. EVERY OTHER MONTH U MENTIONING ME SMH GET ME OFF YOUR MIND N STOP USING MY NAME FOR CLOUT,” Boosie wrote.
The former Concentration Camp rap group member further addressed Ralo and asked him to get in touch with him directly, if he had to say something to him.
The Lines for Valentines rapper claimed that he did a verse and a video for “free” for Ralo when he was in prison, and even declined to take the $10,000 that was offered to him.
“U GET NO POINTS FOR SH*T LIKE THIS… Anyway, I’m ‘bout to listen to these beats n make some music, I just hope u not doing the same thing,” the father of eight concluded.
Badazz also shared a screengrab of his upcoming sold-out show offers, including $54,000 for a Baltimore show and $45,000 each for two shows in Phoenix and Nashville, including an extra of $10,000 for after-party performances.
Notably, this is not the first time Badazz and Ralo have feuded. Earlier, in June 2023, the former called the latter a snitch during his appearance on The Breakfast Club radio podcast. The Famerican Gangster rapper responded by calling his former associate a “gossiping grandma” and a “drunk auntie” among other things on X.
The duo also dragged out their beef on the social media platform, with Boosie reminding Ralo how he let down his community by being a “rat,” and the latter calling out the former for abandoning his Louisiana roots and settling in Atlanta.
