Singer Addison Rae revealed she was in love with Troye Sivan and that he gave her "butterflies" during their recent performance. On September 25, 2024, Rae shared the same on her Instagram stories. She had made a guest appearance on his tour.

"I'm actually in love with troye. You don't understand.. when we touched heads during Diet Pepsi I had butterflies and then couldn't even look at him again," she wrote.

Sivan and Charli XCX are currently on the North American leg of their Sweat tour. On Monday, the duo who took to the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York, brought in surprise guests Addison Rae and Lorde. Lorde performed Girl, so confusing with Charli, while Rae joined the pair for the live debut of her latest single, Diet Pepsi.

Addison later reposted @PopCrave's post on X about her story, commenting:

Addison Rae also performed the remix version of Charli XCX's single Von Dutch from her sixth studio album Brat. The track is set to appear on XCX's upcoming remix version of the album Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat, which will debut in October. It features additional vocals by Rae and production by her longtime collaborator A.G. Cook.

Addison Rae and XCX have previously worked together on the former's song, 2 Die 4, which appeared on her extended play titled, AR.
