Elliott Wilson has recently shared his thoughts on what has been going on with the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. While the duo's diss tracks grabbed a lot of attention for their respective lyrics, an interview clip of Wilson with Bag Fuel is now going viral on social media.

Elliott said in the video that the dispute between both rappers has been going on for many years and that it would not end any time in the future. He continued:

"You think its gonna go away in a couple months? This sh*t is forever. The problem is that Drake and his people are legitimately stunned and mad that they lost, and they can't accept it."

Netizens took to the comments section of a post shared on the official account of SOUND on X. One of the users claimed that Wilson was looking to get some content and another person wrote that while Drake would release more diss tracks, Kendrick Lamar would create "good, quality music."

Elliott Wilson also appeared for a conversation on The Joe Budden Podcast in June 2023, sharing that he once spoke to Drake about his intention behind releasing the song, Family Matters. Wilson stated at the time that Drake sent a rat emoji in response.

"He sent me something. But I can't say what he sent me, because if I tell you what he sent me, it reflects what he sent me," said Wilson.

Furthermore, the journalist disclosed that Drake once believed that he was the one who sent details of OVO's family to Lamar since they were in Venice while the rappers were involved in a dispute earlier this year.

Elliott Wilson has recently expressed criticism towards Charlamagne Tha God

The Queens, New York native is trending in the headlines after he shared a response to the claims by Charlamagne Tha God on the podcast The Brilliant Idiots. The latter said in the interview that Elliott Wilson did not deserve the fifth position in the Hip Hop Media Power Rankings listed by Complex.

Apart from Wilson, Charlamagne Tha God also slammed the addition of DJ Vlad to the sixth position in the list by Complex. While he said that "Vlad should be higher", he added that the fourth position should have been given to him.

On the other hand, Elliott Wilson joined as an editorial director for three major publications in May this year, which include Uproxx, HipHopDX, and Dime Magazine. Wilson expressed his excitement in an interview with Billboard, saying that he is "thrilled" to start the new journey and continued:

"My focus is on elevating the three rising brands – Uproxx, HipHopDX and Dime – to greater heights and to help shape the future of media and culture. The fun begins."
